Thanks bro. The landlord installed a performa (badly). This helped me fix it right up, good as new.

I've watched (not quite) hours of TH-cam videos on how to do this and yours was easily the best. Just swapped out my old value, no problems, thanks to you. Dead set, legend. Thanks.

You are very welcome mate. I've been a plumber for 30 years and truly you forget those little simple jobs for me are can be a pain in the ass for those who don't do it every day. Glad to have helped ya out mate

Awesome mate I was trying to pull on the bottom red circular piece and couldn't budge the adjustment. Then I saw how you pulled it down lower and Wallah... perfectly easy to adjust! Thanks for the video!

Thank you! I fixed my own loo! Cost me $200 to get the plumber to do the en suite and I just fixed this myself for $25. I used an old piece of towel to soak the last few cupfuls of water up in the cistern before removing the old inlet valve, which saved me having to try and wedge a bucket in that awkwardly shaped space behind the loo. Thank you!!!!

Same. Just finished. Watched until he said it undo the nut underneath and then showed what to do with the Performa. SUPER helpful. Thanks heaps for the info, Ezyfix.

With these Caroma toilets with a lever mechanism (the same as in your video), how do you remove the outlet flush valve to replace the seating seal?

Thanks, problems with the cistern leaking into the bowl, even after a definite press on the button, leaking occurs hours later. Will go to Reece Blackwood and get a replacement. Cheers if you are in Adelaide I’d buy you a beer.

How about showing how to replace the inlet valve assembly inside the perfoma

Why would you want to stuff around doing that for a $20 inlet valve waste the time and money. I can't see the value in it

It’s just a twist type. I did it once to avoid removing the whole valve assembly. It was hard getting enough leverage though in a tight space.
Also the part is $9 vs $26 for a whole assembly.
