The 2016 Cadillac XTS is classic American luxury. Its traditional black car looks, length, spaciousness and reasonable cost make it a favorite among NYC TLC drivers that cater to wealthy clientele. We interview TLC Black Car Driver (and full-time student!) Dioni Suarez. Dioni has been driving the XTS on both the Uber and Lyft platforms in NYC and also does private client work. He forgot about the Adaptive Cruise Control when driving on highway or interstate! My fav feature on my 2013 XTS!!
This car looks great in black, the CT6 I like too as the newest Cadillac XT6 which still too expensive for me.
Nice video, but I wish Dioni and the host had talked about how reliable and durable the XTS is (and therefore profitable, or not) from a professional driver's point of view. The car must be taking quite a lot of abuse due to the environment, weather and amount of miles it's subjected to. That's an essential topic to cover, since the bottom-line is what Dioni might be interested in at the end of day. So, is the XTS a good tool for the job?
Thank you and appreciate the feedback. Yes, this was one of our earlier videos when we just started (we were going by the TLCMKT name back then vs. the current AutoMarketplace). Upon reflection we could have gone deeper and covered more topics. Dioni told us the car is very reliable / makes him good money via apps & private clients. The car can also handle NYC roads / weather / conditions well. We will try to do another follow up video with Dioni and we'll also be doing a 2019 XTS review soon as well which will be more in depth!
