If you love the bike why not do it, but expected you will spend more money than buying a used 2013 sportbike 600cc. If everything are look salvageable then maybe you will spend less money.
Clean the carbs and fuel tank, new battery, it will run.
Make this bike a cafe racer it would be a great build

Juan Campos no more than $150. I think you have to get that inspected too by Highway patrol since the last tags was 1995.
I get one and it's running replace the gas hoses and clean carbs new spark plugs new air filter oil change and antifreeze battery runs like new
