How is “a musician” critiquing this and not pointing out it’s the same riff as Costello’s “Pump it Up”? A lot of millennials think her music is 90s vibes but it’s not hahah you guys were just teenagers in the 90s so it reminds you of then but in reality it’s just pure teenage angst vibes. I’m not a teenager but this song slaps!
Not all her music, she said she’s more into ballads. Only this one and two other more have an angst vibe to it...her parents took her to lots of alternative rock concerts when she was little so that’s why she’s influenced by the teen angst vibe.
