So I bought the same switch but some how my pump is not starting. Is there any additional steps I need to do to the pump itself? Or just simply plug the the pump cable to the back of the switch and plug it in?

Thanks for making this video! Question… With the new float in place did you have to keep the old float engaged? I’m having an issue with my float not fully engaging. I have to lift it slightly and it will go on. I was thinking if I get the float you got, this might solve my issue. But I’ll probably have to use something to prop my old float up so it runs when the new float kicks it on… right?

Most likely… in my case, the pump was always running. It sounds like you would need to put it in a running state for this to work

Poorly compiled video. Can't you figure out how to edit? No one needs to watch you read instructions.
You lifted the float from the bottom to activate the switch. The float slides up the rod, totally different. Try something else, dude.
