I am a washer crammer 😂 My mom would go crazy if she saw how I do laundry lol. I was raised that you sorted clothes into like 5 different categories and don't overload the machine etc. etc. And I am a free spirit laundryer hahah! If it fits then in it goes and no way am I sorting through darks/lights/whites/work clothes/towels....oh heck no! 😂 Finished is better than perfect 😁

Also have y’all looked into getting a pod for moving? You can load everything into it when you move out and then just keep the pod until you have your new space. Just a thought!

I usually do a a full load but sometimes if I’m feelin lazy I’ll do two so I only have to fold for a couple minutes and have a break 😂😂😂
I never overfill my washer. It's just something my mom taught me that i still think is important 🙂 i need to be sure my clothes are able to move freely during the agitating phase. Same goes for the dryer. I find my clothes dry better if the dryer isn't packed and things come out less wrinkled and fluffier if they have room to tumble. Blueberry cake donuts are my favorite. Don't get me wrong, i love me a warm, fresh traditional donut but every now and again nothing will do but a blueberry cake donut. Yum. The black chairs would look amazing! I say do it. I can't believe it's almost Felicity's birthday. Where in the heck did a whole year go?
I'm a professional interior stylist and I 100% recommend purchasing some black chairs. The fact that your kitchen already incorporates black accents will make the whole room feel effortless and cohesive. You're right, the current table and chairs don't look bad, but the room will feel much more "designed" if you add in that extra bit of consistency. The shaker style chair in your inspiration photo blends the existing farmhouse style in the cabinetry as well!

Hands down favorite jogger, especially for travel, are the Athleta Venice joggers. SO GOOD! Totally worth the $, and I’m usually pretty cheap. Best bonus is some of the pockets are zippered so it’s ideal for securing stuff while traveling.

As a military spouse, hire the packing and moving, maybe do a POD. They have insurance if anything gets lost or broken. I also live in Niceville, across the Mid-Bay Bridge from Destin, by The Commons. Glad you enjoyed the area, you came during the "sweet" spot, between Snow Birders and Spring Break. It's a time for locals to enjoy the area.

Hoka is where it’s at. I used ASICS and Saucony for years, for running. And, then Brooks for walking. Hoka changed my preference. They are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have found.
Hoka is THE BEST. I even got my mom hooked on them. I have back problems and they've helped so much. My mom works in a hospital on her feet and she said that they're like walking on clouds 😁
Do you recommend any style of Hoka in particular, or all of them?
I can never seem to find a walking shoe that's comfortable/supportive enough to wear all day. Right now I switch between my lululemon sneakers (their first launch) and skechers. My lululemon are fine for an hour or so walk around the neighborhood, but on a trip to Savannah they killed me after half a day.
@@chaosbecomesher I love my Arahi 6's, they're more "bouncy" and comfortable than the other pair that I have (which are the ones Jessica linked) - the Clifton 8's. They're both excellent though! For all day walking though, I'd definitely go with the Arahi 6.

I have the black modern style Windsor chairs from World Market and love them. They are comfortable with the high back. You can add a pad if you want the seat to be cushy, but over all the look of them are so classic with a modern twist. I love them and get many compliments.

On the topic of "things to do when you're stressed", I love that Tyler branched out into hot yoga and I've been looking at a hot yoga center in my area! A great idea to try something new and give yourself something to look forward to when you're stressed.

I’m a 1 load person, we also sort our laundry a bit different. Load of everything that needs to hang dry, socks and underwear (and other delicates) and then everything else clothes wise goes together

Black chairs!!!!! Love the new table it is beautiful.
2 Loads kind of mama - mostly cause I think our washer protests when its too full and won't drain properly. I also get super high anxiety before the girls (ages 2 and 4) come home from daycare. I work from home so it is a feeling of routine, a little homebound trapped, and all of the evening things that come with hungry/tired kiddos. I have found that releasing my expectations and making sure that I give them both some time to *adjust* being home with extra snuggles or hugs. It doesn't make the rest of the evening easier, but sometimes keeps the tantrums at bay.
I bought the cinnamon tea awhile ago on your recommendation and YUM! It's now our favorite. So yeah. Thanks!

I'm so glad you're getting a work place closer to your home, yayyyy lol. Okay so I have to say I do the Barr workouts, me being a clutz tore a ligament in my right foot/ ankle and had to wear a boot last summer. Be careful doing those squats while on your tippy toes, pace yourself and do them slowly, I did them too fast one time DOHHHH. 😅😅.

Jessica, I have that exact same table. I have similar chairs to the ones you shared you wanted. I got them at pottery barn. I waited for a sale, I think a holiday. They are pretty comfortable and are durable with toddlers.

Saturdays are usually my laundry day. I will definitely separate loads, I have to. Dark load is mostly clothes. Lights/whites is less often, most of what I own is black lol. My pillowcases have to be washed in unscented detergent (like rockin green) or my eyes get all irritated 🥺. Towels too, but they get their own load so they don't cause my bedding to pill/tear (they're heavy, I use ettitude bedding which is super soft but not durable like my old Egyptian cotton). I can use scented stuff on my comforter, but that for sure takes up the whole washer lol.

Love that table!! I would keep the chairs and look into getting slipcovers for your chairs. You could get any color slipcover you wanted. Make sure they are machine washable though 😊 Or you could paint your current chairs black.
