I must say, as a German resident, I'm little proud to see Essence now taking over international market, I'm now in my 40's and that is one of the brands that started my love for make up years and years ago ❤️
I just have to say I love how tati’s videos are all at least 20 minutes. These days everything is short form content and I just miss the longer videos. Thank you tati!!!
I really don't like short for content because I feel that it robs you of your chance to learn about the person making the video, and thus it's harder to make that important connection. I'm never drawn back in to short form content. My only exception is a news story, those should be quick and to the point!
Same!! I like to listen as I do housework, the longer the better.
I completely agree. I always hear "long form content is over" which I don't understand because podcast have become so popular. That's mainly all I watch. Idk if you've heard of Theresa is Dead. But her makeup videos are like 45 minutes or longer and I love it 😂 if I want short content I'll go to TikTok 🤷🏻♀️ and even they have extended the length your tt can be.

Happy Anniversary! My hubby did something similar. He didn't date much and we'd only met when he went home and told his mother, "I've met a girl and I'm going to marry her". He did just that. We were married over 54+ years when he passed away. Our love grew every day, more and more. We always signed our stuff to each other (letters, cards etc). ILYMTTYBLTTT which meant, I love you more today than yesterday but less today than tomorrow. Sure do miss him.

That’s so sweet. My parents would have been married 50 years tomorrow but my dad passed away from cancer in 2014. I got my mom a gift anyway. I hope she likes it.
That is such a wonderful story of your life together that you get to cherish always. I'm sorry for your loss though. If you believe in an afterlife, I'm sure he is watching you daily and still loving you more each day than the last. 🥰

Usually I'm a glossy girl, but ever since I found the velvet formula of Lisa Eldridge I fell in love! It's not drying, and the color selection is so unique and pretty ❤️

I’m definitely team glossy lips. Especially with the skin trends leaning towards matte again, I feel like the lip needs moisture.

Yes, I agree and elf has all of a sudden because almost exclusively a dupe brand... They were good on their own, but they are probably trying to get more buzz about them especially in this economy.

It's not a tricky palette tho. It's very nice and easy to use.

@@ashvinirawal5359 Personally, I think it is pretty good drugstore quality, but I know lots of other people don't like it so it's subjective. To me, it gives nice purple or mint spring looks which can be hard to find at the drugstore for that price point. It also has neutrals for the brow bone and crease to balance the look out. If you do end up getting it, I hope you like it!

Yea and she lied about being able to get 12 colourpop shadows for $10. Then she gaslit me in the comments saying she built up the outer corners when we could see in the video that she didn't. Then blocked me when I said we can see she just put one layer on. I don't think it has anything to do with "different experiences", I straight up think Colourpop pays her to bash other affordable drugstore shadows. Today she was bashing ELF shadows too....which are great quality!
i love how you have always said stuff like "i want to play.." "lets have fun" stuff like that. makeup IS fun and is taken way too seriously sometimes. i dont know i feel like its super inclusive for anyones makeup "level" and it makes me happy, so thank you for that

for lips i love the essence clear gloss or literally vasaline mixed with the peachy putty blush from elf with jelly highlight on the center when im extra. my fav essence products are the brow pencil with the spooly, the waterproof liquid liner and all 4 lash princess mascaras togeather

Yes! I love drugstore products, they have really upped their game. 😎 So fun to shop!
The only things I've tried drugstore but still use a higher end product is for face. Tinted moisturizer ( Nars), face powder (Bare Minerals) and my beloved stick foundation ( Tarte). I don't mind the extra money on these because they last forever. Revlon makes amazing lipsticks! And love Milani and Physicians Formula everything! I used to use Chanel, Dior etc but ditched them a few years ago. Not worth the price. Drugstore just as good.
I don't like matte lips, but I don't go super glossy either. I'm in between lol.
Looks so great! I’d love more drugstore looks. That highlighter is stunning I will be running to my nearest Essence stand for sure. I’m still loving the original Revlon colour stay but I’m now 48 so less is more for me, that powder foundation looks beautiful but it might be a bit heavy on my skin. Love the pink eyes and you are SO right we should all just play with whatever makeup makes up happy. Hope you had a lovely anniversary. Love from Ireland ❤️
