I’m jamming over this for all night long. I’m a blues guitarist for 20 years and very rarely i watched a blues vid on TH-cam and took immediately the guitar and start to jam. The fact this vid has almost no comments is beyond me.
The last Master of Blues and Swing Guitar - he is a Genius and also willing to show and learn to his childs - a living master - look how he plays the 6ths chords ;-)
When I moved to Boston in the mid-70's. "Roomful of Blues" used to come up from Westerly, RI with his entourage. He had a horn section and a hard core group of followers who could do all that swing and jitterbug dancing. It was magical for me then, and it seems he's kept it up. I did see Roomful about years ago in Boston and the original sax player who used to have a ponytail was bald!

Duke is the bomb. Remember the first time I saw him his playing style mixing jazz and blues riffs just floored me. Great player.
Loved him forever. Used to go see him at The Haunt in Ithaca NY. Dance the night away.
