Wow these bring back great memories. I picked-up both movies at a a Con in Anaheim about 35 years ago in Laser Disc format. Japanese release, cost me a small fortune back then. Neither move has bee released in the US from what I can find. The artwork is just next level. The story from what I could follow way about a special police unit of women that fought trans-dimensional demons that are trying to invade our dimension. Each of them with special talents. Some day I need to make some subtitled transfers and watch them again,. Now where is that Genlock that bought back then....
I think i know why night city looked so familiar for me, cdpr definitely takes inspiration from first bladerunner film just like in this anime 0:54 also, i noticed that car looked very similar to K's car from sequel

I love how the majority of these 80's & 90's anime mega-metropolis cities were inspired by Blade Runner.
