- If you own some basic tools, and aren't scared to get dirty the alternator isn't a hard thing to replace in your Honda Element! Save your self a couple bucks if you have some free time and knock it out your self! If you enjoy this content or element content in general let me know down in the comments!

Good content…love Elements…keep up the good work
Thanks!
Followed your video and was and easy job. There was a clip on the a/c fan that holds a wire that was difficult to remove due to lack of space but otherwise easy. Took me 2 hours start to finish.
Love to hear it!
First time caller here and I gotta tell ya Andy I’m lovin the content!!
hahaha
Always love Element content!
My dude 🤘🏼
Thanks brother… I may be doing this soon!
Hope this helps! Would also be easier to pull the power steering pump out of the way before the fan! Thought about that after i made the video haha
Thank you for showing this procedure! I have to replace the alternator on my '05 CR-V which is basically the exact same process as the Element. I also have a leaky power steering pump as well so I need to get a reseal kit for that.
No problem! Glad it helped!
Great video! My 03 element is get closer to 200k so I’m just waiting to have to do this job lol
I think I’m at like 216k now haha hopefully yours lasts longer!
great diy video!
Thxxxx🖤
Great Video. Thanks.
No problem! Hope it helps!
Anotha one 🔥🔥🔥
Yes sirrrrr!!
Was it making a whining noise before it went out ?
nah, the battery light would flicker though. normally a wining noise is the power steering pump. check your fluid level
Hey, cool video. What alternator did you get? I'm in the same boat, my alternator just gave out.
I just got the remanufactured one from advance auto with a limited lifetime warranty
10mm life
All the 10mms haha
Does anybody no part number of the alternator I have a 2010 element
it depends where you go. if you go yo any parts store they can give you part numbers. there are different brands with different part numbers
Can you get away without taking out the fan?
I don’t think so. The fan is also super easy to remove.
I did on mine still not charging
Is the battery dead?
