    Funny how the content of your video tells a completely different story than the title. For me, all the things you say just prove again that it's not great for solo run&gun shooting. The image quality is definitely superior to the "proper" run&gun cameras by Sony and Canon though.

      I get what you mean and it’s hard to argue with all these other great cameras out there. In the end it’s just a tool and for me personally and for my workflow it is the perfect camera despite the flaws but I get that the title might through you off. I appreciate the honesty🙏🏻

      Definitely the biggest selling point of this camera🤞

    I’m a solo shooter using a RED Raven and it is a great camera for me. It is also bigger and heavier than the Komodo. The Raven is great and in some ways better than the Komodo. But the Komodo is 6k and the it’s smaller and lighter than my Raven. I think they are both great for solo shooters. That said, I get a kick out of the haters who never owned or even rented a RED, yet seem to want to bash this kid for sharing his experiences. Get a life guys/gals..

    I see a lot of negatives.

      Definitely! The RED Komodo does have a lot of flaws that are rather easily to be dealt with. In my workflow I really learnt to love the RED Komodo and its negatives and considering the price point in the year 2024 it’s a pretty hard to beat camera if you take into account the quality of the image it delivers💪

      To me the thing that really sucks about this camera is how expensive those cfast2.0 cards are. I wish they had included more modern cards tech, but for the price like you said it is still a nice choice for filmmaker

    The Komodo is definitely the best camera for solo filmmakers that also gets a lot of use in theatrical released films. Blackmagic, Canon, Panasonic, Fuji and Sony (outside of the Venice) don't really get to the big screen with the exception of the Creator.
    I would say if your style is handheld and you don't shoot a ton of lowlight stuff it is a great option. Once you get to night shooting and gimbal stuff the FX3, FX6, or C500 MK2 really make a lot more sense.

    • @JeanSebastienLEGER
      @JeanSebastienLEGER หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You don't have to be rich to buy a Komodo.... For (professional) filmmakers, it's simply a tool, just like any other camera... What bothers me is that he used a click-bait title, just like almost every other TH-camrs... If the Komodo were truly perfect as his title suggested, he wouldn't have any complaints...

    • @jannis.rothermel
      @jannis.rothermel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I get were you coming from. I appreciate the honesty. You probably one of the people that would not have clicked on this video without this title so unfortunately it’s the game you have to play sometime… don’t hate the player, hate game🙏🏻
