There's a very prestigious list of champions who have gone on to achieve major success in the music industry. From Multi-Platinum to Diamond selling and even Grammy-Award winning producers! Because of this, the competition has gone on to be recognized globally by music professionals as a launching pad for many talented producer's music careers. Doc Kaos815 Beats EDM can be completely instrumental while being a full song, but a beat is an instrumental for someone to rap/sing over or do whatever they do.

I feel there’s a difference between beats you make for artists and beats you bring to beat battles. You can use the same ones that you’d make for an artist but you gotta have more dynamics to it instead of bringing 8-16 bar loops with a layering dynamic only e.g. Melody first few bars, then the hi hats come in, then the snare/clap, then the kick and bass, which I think is so boring to hear in a beat battle lol. You want to take listeners through a trip in these battles, instead of giving them beats that just sounds like it’s missing an artist.. unless of course it still manages to take the whole crowd through a trip. It’s called Balance lol.
Basically make beats that’s unexpected to the listener.

I see all these peeps talking about how UNKWN's beats are amazing and yes while they are really good, his "beats" are just Trap/EDM drops. I find it really hard for someone to be able and rap on them because of how "EDM" they are. I just don't think this is the right competition for him lol
To me it seems like the less instrumental hip hop your beat will sound the better chance you have to win. I think it's more a battle of sounds
@@keefazstudio i see what you're saying and i agree that sounds really do matter but i still think that there should be a boundary/line between EDM and Hip-Hop. EDM music usually doesn't have rappers rapping so they rely on sound design and melodies to make their music stand out. You have rappers in Hip-Hop so you dont need much sound design skill to make the music stand out. Either way, i like UNKWN's style bc i come from a dubstep/edm background, i just dont think it fits hip-hop lol
@@Pedro-bl7ri Judges are not rappers though, they're producers. Maybe that played a bit in the selections /judgements in favor of EDM type sounds, like they tend to prefer sound or beat idea they wouldn't produce themselves or discover things out of their environment, I don't know really. I mean it would be interesting to compare results with a beats battle judged by rappers (who could spit some lyrics on the winning beat, that would add fun on the show as well)

9:33 The only way I see Boomeratti losing that first round is because his beat moved on to "brighter" chords, evoking more positive vibes instead of traditional hip hop dirty ones. The beginnning of the bea t was fucking amazin though. Plus, Dylan's beat was nothnig more than a sample beat.

KaRa Kaizen still yet. they judging off of originality, creativity, etc. Visionary's beats were average and sounded similar to most other trap beats.
