BATTLE OF THE BEAT MAKERS (BBM for short) is an annual global producer competition! Music producers from all around the world register in hopes of stealing the show and become one of its famed champions!
There's a very prestigious list of champions who have gone on to achieve major success in the music industry. From Multi-Platinum to Diamond selling and even Grammy-Award winning producers! Because of this, the competition has gone on to be recognized globally by music professionals as a launching pad for many talented producer's music careers. Some of your favorite producers started their careers here.

I think many of the beats are fire; however, they tend to focus more on the transitions than the instruments selection and overall groove. The producers that had the best bounce/grooves typically won. And there intros were typically like 20 secs but you only get 45 secs for the beats. Gotta let that joint rock after like 5-8 secs.
Fax. Nothing wrong when its tastful though. If your intro gonna be 10 20 seconds the actual beat better be good as hell

I love this competition but the format is kinda trash. Even the judges have a hard time explaining why they chose a particular beat besides saying “Sonically, I just liked it better”. I think there should be more specific criteria in the rounds like producers all need to flip the same sample or something. Some guys are playing beats that would amazing to rap on and some guys really show off their producing skills and it’s tough to tell what’s favoured. It all feels slightly arbitrary to me. Shouts out to all the producers and organizers of the event anyway.

The pre-screaning judging battle were adament about battle beat format vs regular structuring. Then the day of judges do opposite lol

Yeah but mixing. You can tell a lot of guys have an older influence and try TOO hard my mix the modern with the new. Then the do too much beat switching that makes no sense or use dated drums. A lot of the beats werent bad but were either dated bounces, weak drops, took too long to actually get to the beat or stolen melodies and bounces. Half of the competition were bounces be have heard for 10 years.....10 years ago

If you do decide to split up your content, pls still upload the the full videos like this, maybe after the main events are uploaded, smaller segments by matchups can be taken from these. i get a percentage of the population cant focus for more than 6 min, but i prefer longer ones to play in the background of whatever i do. you don't have to cater to a specific video time but if the viewers automatically click on the version they like. (full day) vs (broken up/segmented)
