Bro chose the worst engine and it asking what happened, bro Mercedes and Red Bull are the best engines in the game, unless u are managing a top 4 team picking a renault engine will NOT help you, so u need to go ceazy on upgrades to make that engine work, should have spent that extra 2 Mil Ben.
Probably won’t read this comment but each car part specialises in certain areas when upgrading so it would probably be a good idea to maximise where you can with the sliders while the car is dog shit instead of investing in drag reduction chief
@@NangDooferfuel efficiency is irrelevant when you underfuel the car so much you have to run half the race on conserve. Lose triple the lap time that you gained by being lighter at the start.
@@NangDoofer No. I oberfuel by 1 lap. Push for the first 10-15 laps or so. Then go on standard. It makes up the minus fuel pretty easily with a bit left for pushing later on. I did a lot of testing and it's by far the fastest way.

Gaining a couple tenths.....(depending on how much you go under).....but in all that traffic....so not making use of it. Then can be losing 1-2 seconds a lap later when you are conserving and the other cars are lighter. I did 2 of the same race (quit out and restarted) with my McLaren save. Best car by a mile. So knew I would be out front anyway. My way was 20 seconds faster than the underfuel and saving way. Done it on multiple tracks. All are the same. 20-30 seconds difference.

But try pushing your tyres as much as you can ive found that tyre temps dont do anything to lap time or having incidents just the tyre deg which if you plan for with strat shoukdnt matter... I use a two stop at almost evey race and try to push them as much as i can without avoiding curbs unless im in the drs... Give it a shot maybe... Most importantly keep the series coming and bring the batman back🙏🏻

I pretty much knew I had secured my board objectives with Mclaren season 1 by late June due to several teams performing so poorly, so from July I only did research and season 2 I had the second best car behind RB (I hardly scored any points for the last 5 or 6 races but it was 100% worth it). Because of this I could switch to research in May in season 2 (board objective was P4) and hold onto P3 in the constructors as Ferrari developed past me, but season 3 i'm now close to RB. Season 3 objective isn't to win the constructors so I have gone full research as soon as it opened so in 2026 I will be dominant with the reg changes, and still hold onto P2 after a strong start to the season.

I got McLaren finished with 6th position on the end of the season, but starting 2nd season with McLaren is hell. Having almost worst parts and trying to compete with Mercedes for place to don't get fired is almost impossible :/
I dont think people realised that frontier have been very lazy on the driver transfers ive just finnished my first season as ferrari and have the exact same driver transfers as u see in the video

Oh dear. Im afraid you have conpletely destroyed your season already. Choosing Renault based on the fuel efficiency because you are insistent on the worst fuel strategy possibe in the game in terms of underfuelling and saving is just shocking. You are losing triple the lap time later in the race by conserving than you gained by being lighter at the start. Literally gaining a couple tenths at the start to lose 1.5-2 seconds a lap later on. Start even or slightly above fuel. Push when you need it. Never go below -1 laps of fuel. You will gain 20-30 seconds a race compared to what you are doing.
With good fuel efficiency, you don't even need to go on conserve. I often underfuel my cars and have no problem making it to the end. After all, no F1 team would EVER overfuel their cars lol.

Always end up with a faster race time when I slightly overfuel and use push for the first 20 laps or so.

So glad to see this one up and running again. Was it the engine manufacturer change that created this issue? What was the strategy on switching up?

I had this exact problem. Loads of research and went backwards. I read it was because I didn’t develop the facilities enough!

yeah i am in 2026 with mclaren and got verstappen and norris, both about 2 sec faster than red bull in quali so ywah game is boring
