if you can send out both drivers at the same time the fastest first then usually the second driver gets a tow off of the faster driver and that helps if your trying to get both drivers up the grid

Is dirty air not gonna outweigh the slipstream? Or just map-dependent you think?

@@operatordingo it seems to work even getting a tow off of a slower car maybe just under a second in front of you.if you got a good car and try this with with the slowest its not a good idea tho.usually you catch them up and lose time due to not being able to overtake them hence using your team mate so both cars have the same mods and power

I like to do 3 flying laps, as i use manual control and use the first flyer as the first boost to confidence, light pace, conserve and harvest, then second flyer, bump up the pace, fuel and ers to balanced,
then your driver will have near max confidence at the end of the 2nd flyer and the tyres are on good temps and they are not wasted as much for the final 3 flyer, around 93-92% which is more than enough to set a good time with max confidence. :)

i have done all the things, im with alfa romeo and i cant take at leats P15, i went for manual, 1 and 2 laps without cooldown, automatic 2 laps without cooldown, automatic 1 lap without cooldown, can you give me any tips? And no, im not change the team :))

Ignore everything you see in the vid. Use the normal setup. That means 1 quali lap with 2 flying (in & out). Leave everything on automatic. Look on the graph located at the bottom left/right of your drivers when you start the session. You'll see some vertical lines, some dots below and the track density graph. Time your runs depending on this. Look where the track density graph starts to rise and count 4 segments backwards (dots). Now, at the first segment send your 1st driver and at the 2nd segment, your 2nd driver. That way, both of your drivers will get their quali lap on clean air, high track grip and will preserve your tires for Q2 as well. At first I was struggling to get a good quali, following all these YT videos, but after I've tested what I've been written above, I'm always at 1-2 with at least one of my drivers.

@@lasarith2 yeah sadly you can't research properly, it is bugged to balanced which is no good. They are fixing this in 1.6 update.

You only can run two or more flying laps in Q1…. They won’t run more then 1 flying laps in Q2 & Q3

Why would it get patched? You’re managing your cars , tyres and plans. It’s a management game. If they patch it then they’re taking away the point of the game. Management. 🤷🏻

Well thats true. But the AI could be patched so the AI also runs with the correct temperature. Because now you have an advantage.
