They simply don't understand that if someone had evil intent they would never see the camera or realise they were there. A person stood in plain view seems to worry them more than a covert observer.

The police in most of these videos can't seem to distinguish between a 'concern' and a 'crime'. They can be as terrified and neurotic as they like about a guy with a dog filming their little station; it doesn't make it a crime, or even give reasonable grounds for arrest or detainment. Most of what they do is bluff and deception. They decide they don't like someone and seek to pin something on them. Shameful.

That is not exactly what Justice Bean said, read the case. Harvey v DPP, 2011 I believe.

First day at police training (Was back in 1959). A policeman cannot be insulted. He is un-insultable. A policeman can give expert evidence on one subject only, "Drunkeness".
Working in a Borough Force meant you knew who were your baddies, no shenanigans 'cos everyone knew each other's business and the over riding control was- Supervision! Back then everyone had been in military service and that's how it was disciplined.
I asked a young copper about training and found they don't even have to attend a post mortem. First dead body they see is probably mangled up in a wrecked car.
