    Well done to the front desk support staff, Sgt & Inspector. Building bridges with community and all 3 acted with professionalism and respect. Richard your approach undoes all the positivity and professionalism your colleagues displayed engaging with the public. Sadly Richard you and you alone will be the standout in this video which members of the public will watch and take away.

    You’re wrong on the Dodge Challenger number plate font .. there is a concession for US imports ..as follows
    Character height: 64mm
    Character width: 44mm
    Character stroke: 10mm
    Space between characters: 10mm
    Uk plate font :
    79mm high and 50mm wide. The width of each character stroke must be 14mm and one must be able to measure 11mm between each character in the same grouping.

    Been watching your videos after seeing the video that AB made about your visit. I am really impressed with the polite and courteous manner in which you present yourself. You are not going out of your way to escalate situations, you take your time to try and explain what you are doing, your rights, and why you are doing it. You give them all ample opportunity to respond in kind. So when we see examples of sub standard behaviour on your videos, we can see its the individual that's the problem, and not them responding to you being annoying. Keep up the great work DJ.

    'Richard' was absolutely rude to you. If you report a crime to an officer the least he can do is take you seriously. Perhaps the dodgy plates belong to one of his pals. Disgraceful behaviour. I once had a plate that was mis-spaced and technically illegal, a traffic cop escorted me from a motorway with blue lights and sirens and began literally screaming and effing at me about getting it changed that day. One rule for us.....

    • @teem5642

    • @nockianlifter661
      @nockianlifter661 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Us petrol heads will park in two spaces, especially if it’s a wide car like that one. Most spaces are too narrow and then you get someone parked very close who proceeds to carelessly bash and scrape your car as they exit and enter their vehicles. It’s usual to park at the furthest point in a car park where other cars tend not to park because their owners are too lazy to walk the distance. In a busy car park it’s not the thing to do, but that car park had plenty of space. Nowt wrong with an SRT Mustang either.

    I put a comment on earlier to explain the law on number plates on non eu import vehicles but it appears to have been deleted.
    The regs for number plates are different for non eu imports, number plates can be laid out in 2 lines.
    The bsau writing only refers to the materials used in the plate, not the spacing.

      Vehicles with new or replacement number plates fitted
      from 1 September 2001, cannot be shown over 3 lines

    As those reversed in spaces are at the side of the car park I would guess that in the morning they are empty. If that is the case the cars may drive in from the other side and move forward into the space. No reverse parking is involved. I do this if I drive into the space and the space in front is also clear.

On an import vehicle such as that one it is permissable to use the smaller font and spacing used on motorcycle number plates which that one does. Excellent example of a professional, polite audit. I had to chuckle because they were about to steam in and you completely wrong footed them. They had to be pleasant and act with some level of professionalism or else they would have looked really stupid. Top marks.

    Very professional there DJ, and good to watch RESPECT being shared by both parties! Mind you there is always "one" grumpy ignorant cop floating about who you found and caught out! I do believe that duty sergeant will look into that licence plate and "actually" deal with it; plus he has to really to show "willing" in front of his Inspector😂

    Professional and fair auditor = professional and fair response and interaction
    Shame all the auditors don’t act the same because most you see are doing the exact same thing the police do and try to push for a reaction/retaliation, I’m looking at you American auditors.

      I think giving back what you get is more natural. Cause you can see multiple times, police breaking law basically over auditors and antagonizing them, and guess what, where is professionalism there? There is none. Only ignorance and tyranny. Also he basically gave away his identity. So I would call him good but docile. Different styles of auditing have different goals I guess.

    • @Mr_OoOsH
      @Mr_OoOsH 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jakubs.5966 the police and auditors alike are bad…..there’s one auditor in America that doesn’t even speak a single word to the officers and gets a friend to relay what they say……..that right there is the sort of disrespect for another human lies let alone loss of any mutual respect from officers.

    • @jakubs.5966
      @jakubs.5966 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mr_OoOsH I agree. But auditors don't kindnap unlawfully people or shoot them to kill. So pick your poison. I will not support auditors I think are bad or just do it for money, but still worst auditor is better than police officer that enforces feelings, not law. I am still not sure if current gap between society and police can be bridged. I had hope, but after corona, we moved into authoritharian regime zone in multiple countries. Europe is forcing 'green passes' like there is no tommorow. Tyranny like we have never seen is on the rise. People beliving social credit system won't be next step are fools. I doubt police will stand with people. We are entering darker age than I would like.
