- We take a group of off road rigs down into the Palo Duro Canyon at Merus Adventure Park for a day of wheeling! Little did we know, recent floods had turned what was once a challenging Jeep trail into a practically impassable pile of rocks. And to make matters worse - we also experience a catastrophic mechanical failure on our hemi Jeep Wrangler!

Yes, I would love see some Lite Brite and Matt's recovery wheeling together.
It's happened in the past just dig back in the archives. I'm pretty sure I remember a flex-off in Matt's parking lot with the banana against the stepchild.
Major difference here. These people are Pro off-roaders and know there rigs and what they can do and push it. They have broke and got off the trails many times. Most of Matt's recoverys are clueless people who don't have any recovery gear or experience.
Not sure that’s going to happen, as they don’t wheel alone. So there’s generally a lot of people around with the equipment to get them out.

Damn, that canyon looked real gnarly. I am always impressed as to where Kev gets that Jeep, and this one is no exception. That canyon looked rougher than Carnage Canyon or even Holy Cross, by a long ways. I don't blame you for turning around near the end, even if the Jeep wasn't damaged, because yeah I don't think anything less than some sort of buggy was getting around in that.
Also, this might have been the most non-chalant I've ever seen Brit be when it comes to breaking the Stepchild. I really appreciated that, as many channels would spend time putting more drama into it and lamenting breaking their vehicle, but Kev and Brit barely seemed to care. Which as Brit mentioned makes sense as they were gonna rebuild everything anyway. I just liked and thought it was cool that it was nothing overly dramatic and we did not hear any whining at all from anyone. That's the mark of some real and true pros, right there.
Lite Brite should start cloning Chis so we can each have one. Ideally Chris-clone would be foldable so we could conveniently store him in our tool boxes or center consoles. I''m looking forward to watching the rebuild the Step Child. Thanks for another great video.

I'm the guy that asked that question, I knew what his answer would be, and that it would make the vid. Brittany was off spotting and I was just trying to get him in trouble so I could steal her away... Didn't work! 😂

Hey kids! Again, a great adventure & surprising unexpected hurt to Step-Child. Nothing Cris & Beck can't handle. Brit's cautious crisp spotting seems straight out of the school of..., "hard rocks"..., get it?! Would like to see Brit take on that new rock run in her Side-Chick though. Always good stuff! Wow, I finally got to see the obstacle that turned yall around. That was surely frustrating for you all and I could see the exhaustion and frustration when yall got back to the shop for dinner. Glad everyone made it out with minimal damage (minus a busted t-case of course, but that's just Kevin doing Kevin things). I was super happy to see my Powerwagon in your videos finally, hehe. Next time I'll have it more decked out with front to back, side to side, protection.

Hahaha spot on Kevin with the dual climate control. Both of our vehicles have them, it comes in handy and saves the marriage or us fighting over who sets the temp in the vehicle.

I get it, Kevin likes a challenge and he must have seen some sort of line there but as soon as he started it didn't look like a good idea to me. But we have seen Kevin tackle some difficult obstacles before. Guess he showed us ripped and busted. 😑

Loved seeing that Power Wagon out there hanging with jeeps. Also loved seeing that guy without lockers rolling with you. Just shows you don't have to have tens of thousands sunk into your build to get out there and have fun, even if everyone else has rigs that are more built than yours.
I wheel in an F150 6" lift 35" tires with front and rear Torsen limited slips 4.56 diffs...Awesome on and off-road with the jeep club I am a member of... :)

If you listed carefully as the axle snaps in the gentle breeze you can hear 300m Rcccccv ...kinda like Rosebud.
Full blown rock buggies break and they are built for punishment. You spend 50k for a jeep put another 30k minimum trying to turn it into a rock crawler. Why not just buy an Avalanche sniper or whatever else is out there.
I get it's a jeep thing. But i have owned more than the next guy and worked them but never just abused the sht out of them. But deep pockets help the thought process I'm guessing.

Should have backed up a hair or two repositions the tires for a slightly less stressful line and tried again. Also you’re best to have an Air-locker so even in 2wd you’ve got atleast 1 axle locked to crawl out LOL

34 is insane. The most I've gotten to was 30 degrees and that was beyond uncomfortable.
Wheeling in AZ and that happened to us about 25 years ago. Had to do a 360 in the middle of the trail.
The bang was real! That Power Wagon was a beast on the trail, huge.

I was there that weekend in my Bronco with Project Zero. The weather was cold as heck, but 2 great days wheeling in my Bronco!
Man that looked some route, and Kevin being Kevin had to push the Stepchild to the extreme, well we know the outcome, great vid!!!!

Britt’s spotting is as always legendary. Kevin defiant as always. Good thing rig is going through overhaul. Last time you guys found all sorts of frame damage and trail damage. Its time to touch up the jeep. You guys are getting sub zero temperatures anyways so stay warm!
