Mohamed al Fayed: CPS 'only wanted to take cases they could win,' says former victims' commissioner

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has acknowledged it had twice failed to bring charges against Mohamed al Fayed for sexual abuse.
Former victims' commissioner Dame Vera Baird told Sky News that the Crown Prosecution Service "placed a very high premium on their conviction rate - meaning they would only take on cases they could win".
