Searching for this particular problem for a 706 IH a friend of mine has. I'm not familiar with IH but I have to believe the 806 and 706 have similar, if not the same, hydraulic systems. Good video and tutorial. Just subbed your channel 👍👍
you've got a really helpful series of videos on the 806,,,,,,,,,,and not wishing you too many troubles with her ,,,,,,but i hope to see a lot more ,,,ha,,ha
I'm trying, this tractor had plenty of issues when i bought it, and i knew about some of them. It was still cheaper and in better shape than another one i almost bought. I have a few more big things to check out and then it should be pretty good besides minor stuff. Thanks for watching!
I think u just nailed my 806 ih issue on the head, tried bleeding brakes, keeps pushing air, no aux hydraulics and ps suks shit.. relief valve clean, everything else looks good Thanks!
I just connect the other inside liftpump through a hose to establish if the smaller 9 gallon ? steering pump is defect, if it changes anything I order a new one of those cheap indian made pumps, or maybe it s enough with one pump, don t know, didn t go to a hillside to brake or steer, but most likely it will slower your lift.
While shredding with my 806, I noticed that the U-joints on the PTO drive shaft to the shredder broke and the shaft flew off. At the same time I lost the power steering, brakes, remote hydraulics to the shredder and the PTO would no longer turn. Could this be related to a MCV pump problem or likely something else? Thank you.
Sounds like something shelled out up by the clutch. Could be the shaft in there. Harmless farmer showed his was really bad shape. I'll see if I can find the video.

I think he meant the manufacturer of the new pump is HY-Capacity. (Common tractor parts brand)
