We ordered the three packs, the 62kwh plug and play is now installed and being used, works great, just as stated, have 440km range mixed hwy and town driving, dash updates as with original battery but so much greater range. We are just in process of putting other 50kwn packs together, have not had time to get that done yet. It was interesting to see those battery packs going into truck for delivery and use picking them up halfway around the world. Packaging was very good for shipping no issue. I am very happy with the plug and play, no special skills needed to install; the 50kwh should be good and fits in old case with no modifications required.
We took a chance to purchase batteries and they were as good as they said. We needed one small bit of help using leaf spy; Helen got back to use with answer without delay. Having a leaf and these battery packs is a relatively inexpensive dependable ev for us in north central Canada

are there heating elements for heating the cells when the LEAF is parked in very cold temperature?

Yes, the Canadian customer in the video also have such concerns. We have customer from Northern China, where usually also got very cold temperature in winter. The working temperature of the CATL NMC cells is -30℃-55℃. The charging temperature of the CATL NMC cells is -20℃-55℃. So no need for extra heating if in very cold temperature. Just regular use. But the car range do will be discounted if in very cold temperature.
