I'm as excited about Ragnaros as the next guy, but I'm pretty sure water puts out fire. That said, Murky isn't particularly watery.

We talked about Deathwing in a Heroes of the Storm official video. THAT'S A START BLIZZARD!
MFPallytime You want Deathwing in Heroes of the Storm.
Who can blame you? If they do, they need to put a Legendary skin that is Neltharion before he was Deathwing.
I want a Map themed after the Dragon Aspects.
We can make it DeathWing on one side sending out Black DragonFlight Minions.
And on the other we get Malygos, Nozdormu and Ysera and maybe Alexstraza too xD
Each of them send their own minions into one of the lanes.
And we can have different objectives come up that when conquered gives the team advantages depending on which Dragon Aspect it was taken from.
We can have Ysera dream creatures spawn around the map and who ever defeats enough of them first sends the entire enemy team's minions and mercenaries to sleep for a certain amount of time.
Malygos could be a control point that when conquered sends out Arkane bolts at enemy structures.
Nozdormu could maybe rewind time on one of your keeps and reform it if you finish his objective.
When either team manages to gain the favor of 3 aspects then DeathWing gets bored and recks the entire map, slightly changing its landscape, destroying both team's turrets and keeps equally.
You could do a lot with that.

I believe that Ragnaros could do with an ice-themed skin, since there are so many other heroes that have major alterations with their skins. What does Ragnaros have? Normal, small or armoured. That's it.

TH-cam changed its algorithm after around Late october-Early november.
So the way you get views has changed dramatically. Just saying so you guys don't freak out later about how the views you get on your videos start decreasing.

I think it's earlier than the 15th.. I think it's the 13th.
Played him at Blizzcon. He is a ton of fun. Definitely going to be one of my mains for sure :)

He seems more like a specialist than a melee assassin. That being said I am getting him when he comes out, he looks awesome. That lava wave is going to be deadly for experience, going to have to watch him at level 10.

The potential of taking over Forts & Enemy Forts so huge Defense Potential & Siege potential.
But his damage is high so his role is an Melee-Assassin. Though ''Melee'' I find it wrong.
All his abilities are caster type. They should have let it ''Assassin''

Yeah... in my Opinion Specialist fits the best... because hes more like a Strong Meele with Tankabillity/Sustain and a Pusher... he might be also a good Assasin but... well.. i dont know.. Specialist Role seems to be the most fitting..
"Melee" or "Ranged" is solely based on how far they are away from an enemy when they basic attack.
Abathur is a melee specialist despite never being in actual combat for this reason.

Tusshar Shanker it's the fact that ITS FREAKING RAGNAROS... It's a dumb match because he's so big even in HotS. And we have enough assassins for a while..
Kargath Bladefist (WoD) Blizzard themselves have said specialists are "assassins with a twist."
Basically ( slightly) lower damage assassins without burst but with utility or a gimmick.
Ragnaros does not fall into that category. He has engage, burst and seems very tanky. Outside of his *100 second CD trait* there is nothing about him that resembles a specialist.
The player base needs to stop thinking the 2 categories are that different.

Naelyan doesn't matter much. many non-specialists have ults that are more siege oriented, like Arthas' frost wyrm, and specs like abathur have a pure combat oriented ult like Evo.
You need to look at the entire kit to decide. Ragnaros is not a specialist by any stretch.
i've said it a few times in the past, but we need hogger in the nexus.
very few mobs in the game has built up a reputation as hogger has (well, not counting the defias pillagers from vanilla wow, those guys were in the top 20 most dangerous mobs in the game for a LONG time)
lavafoxx there is also Ganon and Saurfang that have quite a reputation

by the by, i'd LOVE to see gamon in the nexus. we could use another tauren.

Yeah, but in all his other art he has a more skull-like head. The horns being solid and shape of the face just don't fit IMO.

Its designed with the aim of being viewed from above, not from above. It looks fine from the up down angle.
They tried other designs but they looked terrible or couldnt be seen from above.

I think he's more like a specialist than assassin. Firstly because of his R2 being the most straightforward wave clear ability so far in the game. And of course his trait. It's not only quite "special", and also it's the furthest away from the concept of "assassin (in my opinion, stealthy, mobile and surprising instead of stationary and conspicuous)", enemies will be like: (from 1 mile away)Hey, isn't that Ragnaros?

Wrong. Each Elemental Lord was banished to a realm created to each one of them by the Titans, where they could rage as much as they wanted and not harm Azeroth. The planes always were what they are now.

Instead of making any old gods woudn't it make more sense to just make Overmind ? He could like be instead of a nexus , spawning zerg units instead of normal minions . Though it is quite similar to abathur .
The problem with spawning different minions is that if they are more powerful in any way to the base minions, that team has a massive push advantage. Spawning extra units could be interesting to play and balance. Still plenty of heroes from the other games to make though.
C'thun's body could replace the nexus.

I'd love to see them do the Ragnaros: The Lightbringer skin from Hearthstone as one of his alternate ones. Like how they have demon versions of the angels and an angel version of Diablo.

Given the new defenition of specialist, I feel the same way about Tassadar. He is more of a specialist than a support.
why would you class him as Assassin though? Feels more like Specialist with the lane control given his trait and the heroic option.
Ragnaros is classified as an Assassin due to him dealing damage with all of his abilities, including his Molten Core trait. Raganros has little to no siege potential other than Lava Wave and the instant-kill minion effect on Lava Wave is just a bonus.
I would love to see a Fel Flame skin for him :D

i have an amazing idea for a hero based on molten core so the hero is a support and what he does is he can "upgrade" allies by increases there health movement and attack but he becomes apart of them meaning he cant move but he can attack with a small lazer that doesnt do much damage but can stun every now and then
