Even the other Tales game is pale in comparison imo. Tales of the Abyss is pretty good, but it's pretty much different comparison (2d and 3d Era) Even then, I still prefer how ToE handles magic with craymel systems
Try Tales of Symphonia from gamecube (not halfassed 30fps ports). Eternia was my first Tales game (first time finished it with group on hard, second time solo Reid on hardcore) and Symphonia felt superior imo. Later 3d Tales like Abyss sure are dissapointment but Symphonia is closer to Eternia than modern ones, especially combat.
Oh and i forgot to mention - I've ''kinda'' finished it Reid solo hardcore - didn'tt managed to beat 2nd phase of Shizel and Sekundes because they've permanently stunlocked me when their AI switch to insanity-instant-cast-loop when You erase some of their HP lol
@person merc 2P playthrough is really neat, especially if you played as reid/Sarah and meredy/keele. So easy to pull off team combo and protecting the spellcasters
@@slambourlee646 Don't feel bad man, finding and actually using them in battle is incredibly fidgety and ultimately not worth it. They're just sorta there.
They're actually mentioned in-game in one of the rooms in Farah's dojo but yeah, the game never actually explain how to use them (as far as I remember)
If I remember correctly, you must fight against Cless and Arche at Infernia City in Hardcore/Hard mode to obtain Arche ribbon, Meredy must equipped with Arche ribbon and Maxwell must be at max vitality then you must cast shooting star it will automatically execute the extension. If unable to execute then try level up Maxwell to 30 it should work. Have fun with Arche :)
Didnt know about the skills to fight nereid. I neeeded tô friend the shit out of the game tô have enought health tô endure the her ultimate and continue the fight
Esto pienso yo que hace mal el juego, tienes que ser un maldito duende de cueva para saber todo lo que te puede ofrecer porque a lo largo de la aventura puedes hacer tantas cosas pero el propósito de muchos es seguir la aventura principal y claro, si no tienes una guía te jodes o pierdes de muchas cosas geniales que ofrece el juego, es algo triste porque tiene bastantes detalles que a mí me hubiera gustado notar, con suerte descubrí a sekundes, a maxwell lo vi en una guía, porque no me habría enterado jamás

This game always amazed me, what a good story, good skill effects (on that era), so many game secrets, and of course maxwell extension is the best 👍
Maxwell Extension was my favorite. After the Battle it gives 100k exp. EZ level up

maxwell extension is staple in Regulus nereid's fight. I always bring Maxwell with 9 vitality before the fight.
