Good video however, I’m concerned about the backwards toe on two lions. Was that a QA mistake? Is there a way to fix that problem with a screwdriver? I’ve seen this before with a KO transformer that I had to completely reverse the arm for it to transform correctly.
Is your arms lions caracked at the forearm pivot? I bought two and all four arms are have a stress crack at all four pivot points. Showz after sales ticket is coming.
I bought a KO Cyclonus and its arm peg tore completely off teh body the first time I transformed it. Cost of buying a KO. This looks top notch. Most of the extras teh carbonix offered were unnecessary to me anyway. I will be painting those lion weapons gunmetal if I ever get mine from TF-direct.
The price difference is nauseating. Greed is taking the joy out of toys for me. Thankfully we have KOs keeping toys in the hands of fans. I could never drop 7-800$ on a Voltron. I can swing 200$ for this one though. Voltrons not a huge deal to me. This will actually be the 1st Voltron I've ever owned.
People saying "hey it doesn't have the lights, or the pilots nor the base" it's obvious they don't own either one of them. First: nobody cares about the lights, it's a gimmick at best and an inconvenience at worst. Second: the pilots aren't that big of a deal Believe me, the little ones inside the lions can't even be taken out. And the base, unless you're a true die hard collector displaying all your figures in their bases it's more of a personal choice. I could do without it, it's too big and it's kept in the box (also big ass box) Realize something: this was made in the same factory by the same people who made the official blitzway, they're bit by bit the same exact models and frankly I like it better because the chrome on the blitzway gets so messy so quick. Oh and a fact that many people don't know that will absolutely blow your mind: blitzway sells a base and accessories only set that doesn't come with the lions themselves... whaaaaaaatt??? No coincidence here AT ALL!
when you live in a small beach house, smaller is better. How much is that smaller version? i don't need one. i use the Mattel Matty Collector smaller one (that came with the musical box) and i do have the 24" Jumbo (that was originally an RC toy)
im ok with kos to some degree.. resale value 0 due to licensing that costs a ton and box value art. but if you have a blitzway and want to see both modes this is a good option or if you just want something cool and have an extra $230.. in the case lions and the blitz as the bot.. I just went with the blitz as bot and three zero as the lions just because of resale value. I will be getting one of these though... thanks for the review.
The upcoming Japanese limited edition, at least on amiami, is clocking in around $365. Shipping to the US is probably like $100 though, but still, it's like $100 less than you keep saying. No stand on that one either (they're selling it separately for another $130 plus shipping, and you can't combine them), although you do get a blazing sword piece, and I think the LEDs might be pre-installed on this release. The KO looks like a great value though. I always feel like the long term durability on KO's is a toss up, but certainly a great option for anyone who wanted a 2nd set for alternate mode, or to just mess around with.
ShowZ isn't always the lowest price importer. A lot of the time they are down there, but not always. They also provide free shipping, which really just gets rolled into the total cost of the item. I'm also curious if it was always $570; I think that sometimes the early pre-order prices are pretty low, and then they get raised closer to release (this definitely happened with the 3rd party Unicron and some other Transformers.@@Hustler281980
I got him and its 100% worth it probably the coolest thing i own right now. And sorry to be that guy but have you noticed that your red lion has a green lion rear leg? Looks i little cleaner to be honest
Of course the blitzways gonna cost 700. They have to make up for all the development, personnel and licensing. The KO doesnt have to pay for all that, it only has to cover the material costs of making the figure itself. Other that that they're exactly the same. Issues here and there both have had them, just not very widespread.
It’s cool but I’d always be regretting settling for this & not a diecast . & blitwayz the one. Cuz the last diecast was in 2015 & was $350sh. & doubled on eBay . Imagine the next diecast: $1200, $1400?! & I have a plastic one but I paid $300 , so for beginner voltron nuts, this is a great one. Because he’s cheap 14’ & looks close to the original
Got the Blitzway Voltron. Only took out the yellow lion. I was Super Scared to take it. Got this K.O took out the yellow Lion. The back leg keeps popping out in Lion mode. 3zero Voltron still in the boxs
Call me smug or something, but... no lights, no pilots, I forgot if it even comes with the stand or not, I think not? I mean, it's a decent KO, but still.... Forget $183. Even if it was $83 I wouldn't buy it. Judge me.
Helpful review. For the price versus $700+, that's a good deal, even with the brown box packaging. Thanks, Tydirium!
Looks like they put green lion legs on your red lion left rear leg.

For the foots, hust turn them 180 degrees on the balljoint.

Did you notice a weight difference between the KO and Blitzway?
Man thanks for this awesome review, I wasn't sure to buy but now I m ordering mine right away
Amazing ko. 100% satisfied. I hope they over size soc vehicle Voltron to go along with this one.
It would be awesome to get a Vehicle Voltron in this scale
Or they might wait for Blitzway to make Dairugger and then ko that.
do you think they will make a new one with the blazing sword?

do they have the cockpits?
The one paw on yellow lion is upside down and rear paws on black lion. Can they be rotated?
Yes, they’re just on ball joints.
I'd get the k.o. anyday over the un-obvious smaller one. 👍 hard not to think the titanpower isn't better.
Hey, buddy! 🎉
This is better than titan power for sure. TP can't even transform
We need an oversized KO thats like 28 inches of this figure set. 15 inches is pretty small if you want to display it with transformers figures.
Now I want the display Voltron at SDCC ,lol.Thats the ultimate!
You said you wanted to buy a third one of these just wondering for what purpose?
when you live in a small beach house, smaller is better. How much is that smaller version? i don't need one. i use the Mattel Matty Collector smaller one (that came with the musical box) and i do have the 24" Jumbo (that was originally an RC toy)
Is the reviewer code the same as the promo code? When I put in "TH" it says it is invalid
I just 250$ shipped from ali express my fav toy when i was a kid
How was it?
Are you happy with it?
Does this have the cockpit access even though it doesn't have the pilots?
Yes, the seats are just empty.
You did not notice the feet on backwards on a couple of lions

Are the colors as washed out as they appear on camera?
No
They do look vibrant in person and Yes I use too powerful of a light sometimes

On showz the sold out blitzway japanese is 570, i pre ordered it. And the stand is about 220 USD

Seems the Black Lion's rear feet are upside down.
Mine just came in and it is phenomenal it is heavy I love it
The weight and feel is awesome
I just got the OS KO MMC Optus Pexus and it's so good lol. 50 bucks you can't go wrong
Sounds like a great release
I was debating buying a 3rd blitzway, now I see the k.o. is just as good I'm going grab the 3rd party guy. At 180 it's a awesome deal
A third one for what though?
Hello godd review... question you hace not good hind paw on the red lion it s shame on green lion...
Has anyone noticed that the black Lion’s left foot has built foot is on backwards
It looks like the KO version is larger than the original version
I got him and its 100% worth it probably the coolest thing i own right now. And sorry to be that guy but have you noticed that your red lion has a green lion rear leg? Looks i little cleaner to be honest
This is a great set and well worth the price
I couldn't afford the Carbotix Blitzway and this one. But lucky are those who have either one or both.
No stand and no pilots and no electronics in the eyes and no chrome but it has everything else
True we have to be realistic with this but so worth the price
I'm probably in the minority in that I preferred Armored Fleet Dairugger XV, vehicle Voltron, over the regular lion Voltron.

Red and green are slightly different. The shape of the mouths, the ears, and the jowls are different.
WOW, You want another one? Lol you already have the Blitzway and the Muscle Bear, save some for the rest of us.
It’s cool but I’d always be regretting settling for this & not a diecast . & blitwayz the one. Cuz the last diecast was in 2015 & was $350sh. & doubled on eBay . This KO has diecast.
i'd spend less for less shiny. i like drybrush metal, not chrome
Got the Blitzway Voltron. Only took out the yellow lion. I was Super Scared to take it. Got this K.O took out the yellow Lion. The back leg keeps popping out in Lion mode. 3zero Voltron still in the boxs
The legs on the lions just aren’t pegged in all the way. Like he says in the video all you need to do is squeeze them and they click in.
Good deal..im all in. It's only like $30 something a lion, lol..a poor man's voltron is for a poor man like me lol
Even being a “poor man’s” version this one is incredibly high quality XD
But I might bite the bullet & buy bothh 🤦🏻🤷🏻😆
Call me smug or something, but... no lights, no pilots, I forgot if it even comes with the stand or not, I think not? I mean, it's a decent KO, but still.... Forget $183. Even if it was $83 I wouldn't buy it. Judge me.
This is all filmed in his parents basement in front of a studio audience is meaning his parents 😂
I would love to have a basement they are cool and generally do not count as living SQFT
