Im confused why would blitzway put a video out on how to connect the blue and yellow lion in voltron mode? This is the Riobot version isn't it? The Blitzway version is a Moshow collab coming out in 2026 I thought. Still great review dude.
man, am I incredibly disappointed in this release. Especially it coming from 1000Toys. The scale, details, weight, and articulation is saddening. I love the modern version. For $700, they should have gave us two versions. A ThreeZero non-transformable version and then 5 lion bots. I could care less about them transforming. It’s just a gimick. ThreeZero needs to take a swing at this, because they would kill it. Plus they won’t price gauge us and blame it on licensing. It’s like them doing Halo figures and charging $200-$250 for a pre-assembled model kit version. Master Chief is a great figure, but it’s a $60 figure to be extremely accurate. This Voltron is worth like $100-$150 given how tiny it is. I’ve been collecting for too long not to pay for quality and quantity. We got neither with this release unfortunately.
I'm a high end Voltron collector, so this figure is def aimed at me. That said, I'm so underwhelmed. Was hyped at the box, went downhill from there. The rattling of the legs, smallish presence, red neck on the yellow lion was way too open in Lion mode, open jaw on the black lion, non locking feet (wtf?!), leg spurs looked small, LACK of DIECAST!, wobbly transformed standing.... all for 700, lol. That price point is reserved for the best variation aka blitzways original Voltron. Not for this crap. This video made me go from instant purchase, to wait for this to be $250 on super discount. No way I'd spent 700 on this. I'd put that to buying my 3rd blitzway instead, way better value.
Sorry for ranting. I was just looking forward to this and presumed the price tag was going to get me a blitzway version of the legendary defender. Thank you for posting the review and informing the rest of us. Just disappointed.
@@rhokk222 the legs do lock but not as sturdy as on the Blitzway or SOC. The directions do stress the figure is for display. I really do like it and I’m glad I have it. But if Blitzway ever comes out with theirs, it will probably be better. I do plan to make another video as I got a lot of questions about it.

me either good thing backed out early. Mark my words next year Christmas EE will have this on clearance.
