I have just bought a new property and have gophers. I bought these traps off of Amazon and am waiting for delivery. The technical term for the pointed stick is a dibble. Some folks use dibbles for planting bulbs. I do like the idea of using the auger drill bit for the hard soil. I cannot wait to catch these critters.
Thank you! I've been also looking for some rabbit eye blueberry plants.. Just need them shipped to me as I am in northern Arizona.. Do you do any shipping?
@@DanielRodriguez-fv5os hey Daniel thanks for the comment. So you don’t want to push down on the trap. Once you insert it into the hole you then hold the top of it with one hand and pull up with the other. If the straps are bent you can twist the spring part to release the tension and straighten them back. I have a video that shows how to do it.
Great idea with the auger. Thanks for taking the time to show it.
Thanks for taking the time to comment I really appreciate it 👍
The auger is a game changer!
@@wheel4premium thanks Adam for the comment it definitely is👍
Thanks for explaining things clearly. Gophers and Moles have ruined 25 acres I have. Do you put the dead Mole back in the hole ?
@@bobbyg4100 hey Bobby thanks for the comment. Yes I have put them back in the hole but don’t really know if it does any good.
I predrilled for emitter insertion, it work out pretty good !
Nice 👍. How many bushes do you have and what varieties?
Just ordered one. I already have an auger like the one you are using, so I just ordered the trap, not the set. I can make the probe easily.
Thanks.
Hey Mike thanks for taking the time to comment. Those traps work great for gophers. I haven’t found a perfect trap for moles though lol
