This song had to be written for star crossed lovers everywhere. It makes me happy and grateful that Barry and his brothers were the ones to do it for us.
I have listened to Barry and The Bee Gees music since the sixties and have never been disappointed. I named my son Barry who was born in 1969 after Barry Gibb as I was a big fan of his. I'm sad to say my son Barry passed away this February with cancer so to hear this new music from Barry Gibb is a joy to me.

My favorite songwriter of all time IS BACK!...I just bought two dozen of Barry's new amazing cd and gave them out to everyone at my art center. We also had a Bee Gee 70's night and danced the night away. Thank you Linda Gibb for getting Barry 'off his ass' to do this album. Barry,please put Atlanta on your new tour!
I went to school with robin and maurice on saturday we went to the movies at our local theatre at nundah I always sat with them we had a lot of fun I'll. never forget that time at school they were all ways writing songs and singing in our lunch break I will treasure that time forever .

How great is this song? You could lift this right out of their 60s catalog...and the vocals don't sound like they're coming from a guy older than about 25. Barry Gibb is a genius.

When I grew up in Saigon (Vietnam) in the early 80' under communist ruling, Bee Gees was one of my favorite bands with songs such as How Deep Is Your Love, Tragedy, When Someone Belonging To Someone, Living Eyes, Wildflower, or the songs they wrote for others such as Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross: Woman In Love, Guilty, Chain Reaction, etc. Well, while the four members of ABBA are still alive but rarely have a union party (let alone play some music!), the Bee Gees from the three brothers now are so sadly down to just one: Barry Gibb. He is such a courageous man, in my mind, by continue to compose and perform new materials, albeit he is now 70 years of age! I'm so moved by his dedication to his passion: music. He lets go of the past - "it's time to grow up" - as he explains in his "behind the scene" video on the meaning of each song. In the mean time, the two videos "In the Now" and "Star Crossed Lovers" will bring goose bumps to his fans, because the familiar Bee Gees musical traits are still there, but in a more modernized way, making very much sense to the baby boomers and the X-gen like myself more now so. His songs will bring to his fans not only nostalgic feelings about the past, but also give them more strength to live in the future, by successive "in the now", one step at a time. Thank god my both parents raised me like if I was in the 1950s or 1960s. Thank god my both parents show me all of this music and show me always a classy classic person. My mom she’s turning 63 years old in May 26th of 2021 and she dances Disco music back in the 1970s in the Disco bar restaurant. She wear the classy belt button pants and yeah my mom she had a wonderful epoch back in the 1970s My dad is 73 years old and he always was in the epoch of Disco music back in the 1970s He also used to wear that classy belt button pants and the 1970s fashion. my dad he saw the movie of Saturday Night Fever on theater when it came out in the late1970s and he also had a wonderful epoch back in the 1970s Now that I am turning 23 years old in April 29th of 2021 I am still big fan of The Bee Gees!
