    He is not being honest; he’s posturing. Most of these guys come to this show to tell tales that perpetuate whatever myth or invincibility that had been ascribed to them from those days. Others come to pour bile and display sanctimonious rage over Rawlings’ outsmarting and defeating of them. Only Captain Awuni struck me as honest, fearless, unemotional, bearing no personal grudges, and smart. There was this semi-literate fellow (what we, in Nigeria, call korobo-a disreputable and non-ranked soldier) called Adubagu (or something like that). He even bragged that he overthrew Limman and installed Rawlings. Is there any insult that Ghana’s military would not receive from these Bantus?
    I respect the young host for giving them the opportunity to ridiculing themselves with telling fantastic and dumb stories. I hope he succeeds in bringing in Rawlings to refute these scalawags’ stories.

      Saramuta or Zaramoku or Whatever you called yourself, My father has never taught me how to be a coward, my story was a fact-based on my participation and planning of the so-called Revolution. I was at the National Reconciliation and Truth Commission to testify and be crossed examined by your Hero Rawlings and he never turns up, Encouraged him to show up next time as the matter is not finished, And to your information, I attended Ghana Armed Forces Training and Academic Studies School at Kumasi for three years. The syllabus used is the same for the officer's corps with little variations, We have the same school in Kaduna called the Boys Army. Try to make a little research before picking on people.

    • @Zaramoku
      @Zaramoku 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stanley Brown: You have not demonstrated that you understand this subject matter better than I do; there ought not to be any judgment on matters this old-Ghanaians need to move on and ensure that those situations don’t repeat in the future. June 4 and its house cleaning were necessary because Ghana was rotten and rudderless then. Rawlings’ second coming shouldn’t have occurred, especially so early after handing over to civilians. Despite his shortcomings, he helped Ghana to become a stable and lesser corrupt country than it was heading toward prior to his intervention.
      Finally, some Africans, (like yours truly) transcend the artificial countries that exist in Africa today. I was a boy in Nigeria when Rawlings first struck; he was hero all over Africa then. You Ghanaians are fond of minimizing your great men-you did so to Nkrumah but only to regret after he was dead; don’t repeat so with Rawlings, cherish him now that he is alive. Yes, he wasn’t perfect, but he did more good for Ghana (the nation) than to have honored the parochial expectations of those traducing him today.

      Mathew Adabuga: Rawlings is not a prosecutor, so why would you expect him to cross examine you? Above all, he had no recollection of who the hell you were, so why would he dignify an unranked soldier like you with a cross examination?
      I watched your interview with Andy; you made no sense and you came across Semi-literate. You said that you took part in the coup because you wanted a car and to be taken care of financially. That was dumb, Mr Adabuga. You didn’t upturn the system to make it better, rather for your gluttonous self enrichment? Stop granting interviews, you are sounding dumb and dumber. I have been looking for your so called book but I can’t find it. It’s likely you also made no sense in the book. If you took the same courses as officers, why did you end your career as a korobo soldier; why weren’t you commissioned or compensated with even a lance corporal rank? Do I strike you like the provincial Bantus you swindle with senseless utterances?
      The truth, Mr Adabuga, is that Rawlings was for country and people while Bantus like you wanted to continue the looting of Ghana’s wealth, for which those “Generals” were executed. When Rawlings wouldn’t let you loot the nation dry, you tried to killing him but he defeated all of you ignominiously. He will also defeat you Bantus on social media if he elects to respond to your acrimonious rants.
      Did you listen to Captain Awuni’s brilliant interview? That’s a natural born-dignified officer-no drama, no posturing, no embellishments, no bilious words against anyone; no revisionism (he merely stated his experiences and recollections). You are a despicable piece of crap for telling the anchor (Andy) that the dead don’t defend themselves, therefore you had to blame a dead soldier for a murder that you actually committed. How do you sleep at night, Mr Adabuga? Your apology is phony and should be rejected by Ghanaians, while your dumb ass is prosecuted for crimes against humanity-maybe I should file charges against you at the ICC, you dumb Bantu.
      If you are going to be responding to me, respond intelligently or I will expose your dumbness.
      By the way, I met one of the sergeants of June 4 in New York last week and he confirmed to me that unscrupulous soldiers like you ruined the noble goal of their efforts.
