This song comes from their last album 'Obsession' which you guys watched the mv for. If you guys ever start listening to albums I recommend that album because it was amazing. Two members, D.O. and Xiumin were not on this album due to them completing their mandatory military service and then of course Lay who is in China working on his Solo work.
EXO are literally kings. There are no words to express how good their whole discography is. Listening to their albums from start to finish is so satisfying because you do not skip any songs. There's a reason they are million-sellers five times in a row for their albums. It's an honor for me to say that EXO is the reason I am in Kpop in the first place, specifically Baekhyun. They were the first group I discovered and listened to for a while until I found Stray Kids lol. The instant I heard Baekhyun’s voice I fell for him without even knowing who he is or what he looks like. His vocals were so captivating to me and still are to this day. There's so much I owe to him for introducing me to this world of music. My recommendation is their ‘Universe’ Winter album. ‘Been through’ is one of my faves but really all the songs are perfection. And of course any Baekhyun song he is always in full R&B mode.
EXOs B-sides really do slap...would love for y’all to see their live performances. I’d recommend Acoustic Melody. Also, Chen was the one hitting the crazy runs in this song...don’t sleep on Chen and D.O.’s vocals!
You both would absolutely love "Groove" and also "Day After Day" by them I think. They are both so smooth and chill and it really shows off more of their outstanding vocals... EXO will always be the Kings of R&B. No other Kpop group hits me with their vocals as hard as they do.
It’s hard to show each members talents but Chanyeol is one of the most talented idol I’ve ever seen. He plays many instruments: drums, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, and even DJ’s some of their concerts. If that wasn’t enough he composes and writes a lot of their music. His acting line up is growing (D.O is still the top actor out of all of them) but his is turning out really good. Oh and he has a singing voice like warm honey.
The guys that aren’t in this album “Obsession” (2019) are: 1- Xiumin and 2- D.O. They are back now, but at the time, they were serving in the military. 3- Lay is Chinese, and he’s been in China since 2016 doing amazing solo stuff. It’s not easy for him to work in Korea, due to some political conflicts between China and Korea. Lay is a superstar in his country. He sang in the Chinese version of Tempo, and you can see his face in the Korean MV, but he didn’t sing. Only 6 people recorded for this album here, but EXO are actually 9 members. Xiumin and D.O. returned, but now Chen and Suho enlisted, and very soon, Baekhyun and Chanyeol will enlist also. Sehun and Kai could enlist by the end of next year....D.O. is quite young actually, but he enlisted early because of his rising acting career, and he was offered some projects for 2021. Also because D.O. is one of three main vocalists in EXO, and he can cover for Chen and Baekhyun when they leave for their military service. Xiumin is the oldest, and he’s also a lead vocalist like Suho: Xiumin can cover for that position while Leader Suho is gone. Those are the hardships KPop male groups go through when they approach their 30’s (they MUST enlist before they turn 30). Fortunately, EXO’s line up is stellar.
I'm 100% sure that you're not gonna regret it listening to EXO's b-side musics. All of them are literally masterpieces, they're not afraid to experience. I still can't believe how they can have soooo much different and great b-sides every single album
Exo is a group of all-rounders. Their production, managers, lyricists and the members themselves: amazing teamwork and spectacular music. You should listen to more songs from the Obsession album. Some other recommendations - For life, Sing for you and Promise. They wrote Promise for their fans that they would always stay together. This was especially after 3 members left the group. You really should hear Chen! He's not active now because he's currently enlisted, but check out his solo "Watch Out" in the the EXO-CBX Magic Circus concert in Saitama. I would also recommend "Drop That". And since you listened to "What is Love" in Korean, check out the Chinese version because Chen sang Baekhyun's part there. If you haven't yet, check out EXO-SC, the sub unit featuring Chanyeol and Sehun. Their latest album, 1 Billion Views (also the title track) also has solo songs for each member. Heck, you should just listen to EXO's whole discography. Their range is just *chef's kiss*

The high notes were mainly baekhyun and Chen. EXO main vocals and theyre usually in charge of the belts. Chanyeol (ch-ahn-yol) has a deeper voice and is generally in charge of the raps but he does still sing (as does every EXO member regardless of position. Sm entertainment prides itself in it's vocal training for all their idols)
The beat is sooo dope and just chillin'! EXO is never dissappointed us with their album, beside tracks, and also live perform! Please, react their live stage 'El Dorado'. That's kinda anthem for me. Also please check out Suho - Dinner (ft. Jang Jae in). That's chill RnB!

Chanyeol (ch-ahn-yol) has a deeper voice and is generally in charge of the raps but he does still sing (as does every EXO member regardless of position. Sm entertainment prides itself in it's vocal training for all their idols)

oh please do ooh la la la! they have done that live and they have a dance practice, it's on the same album as tempo and it's FANTASTIC! honestly the whole don't mess up my tempo album is amazing and has some of their BEST work!!
