BTW, I also found that using a bit of vitamin E in the roots of the lashes maximize the effect... Like a lot! My lashes tended to fall quickly after growing long and thick, so I was wondering what could help, and my mother told me I should put vitamin E to the roots of my lashes, since that skin needs nutrients too, and that was it! Now I go out just with my eyelashes curled and people think I'm wearing mascara jeje ^^ So I hope this helps you girls out there.

Do you use it for lower lashes?and we should apply it like eyeliner? Not like mascara?
Apply it like eyeliner, since it's needed on the skin, rather than the lash itself ^^
I do apply vitamin E on the lower lashes, and as for the castor oil, it usually transfers from the top lashes to the bottom' ones, so I don't apply it directly on those.

Wash your old mascara bottle and put castor oil in it.

My sighting were blurred everytime i wear castor oil. But it was helpful. I apply castor oil and petroleum jelly alternatively. My lashes are long healthy and thick. Love the results O_O

+Jacquelyn Garcia it is better to do before you sleep because its very embarrassing to see your whole eyes became oily at day. Tho, the blurred sightings is not permanent. Everytime you put the castor oil only😀

Wow Lilith, there is really a huge difference between the before and after pics. I am glad that at least one person here is honest about the time-frame. Some of these castor-oil users claim, that their eyelashes were full and long after only one or two weeks. Total BS if you ask me!! I have been using castor oil now for 9 weeks, and haven't seen a difference at all. Every night I apply it before going to bed. I was tempted to give up, but hearing that it takes 6 months, actually gives me hope!! Thanks for that and your lashes look beautiful!!!

toxic tongue A woman in the comment section said she got results using vitamin E oil to lashes. Makes me think E would be better since our bodies need it verses castor or coconut oils which aren't naturally occurring in our bodies.
When this happens that just means the lashes are in the rest phase so you have to continue using it for a long time and eventually you'll start using it during the growth phase and it is at that time you will see rapid results.

Didn't work for me. I've been using castor oil now for about half a year, no results. It depends on if you have the genes. I had quite healthy lashes before, so the castor oil didn't do much for me, but if your lashes are damaged and break fast, they'll improve with this treatment.

Hmmm, it's certified organic, cold-pressed castor seed oil, it does its job when ingested, I have no reason to doubt it's real... But then again, the lashes are defined by the genetic setup, so I guess mine just don't grow that long and full/ thick because they lack the genes, just like my hair doesn't :/

apply it to the roots of your lashes.. because there is where the growth starts.. within the roots.
It started working for my pitiful short, choppy, thin, broken, shedding lashes after the first application... after almost a week they now look so lush and long it's AMAZING! I thought I would have to get falsies, but my lashes are pale / clear and I'm allergic to the glue etc. Now I won't ever even have to worry about it! The change is like night and day. It makes my whole face look way more awake, serene, healthy & younger.
I use the Home Health brand of castor oil from health food store, which is very high-grade and pure. Also good vitamin E from health food store.

Will applying "too much" be bad? I applied it all over my eyelid and lash line because I'm kind of messy haha.
Vanilla Cream I apply "too much" as well! I end up getting it all over my eyelid and sometimes even in my eye... it actually helps to put on a lot because it will enhance the growth!
for me, when i applied too much n it gets on my lid, i noticed that my skin around the eyes is becoming very dry. just use enough is also enhancing. dont use too much

i notice you now have a dark line on your lid similar to what you get when you use lattise. that strange. the castor oil has a similar effect.
Vaseline doesn't help in growing the eyelashes. All the vaseline does is to moisturize them that may or may not promote lashes. To add, vaseline only sit on the skin that can clog pores thus not allowing the eyelid to breath. It can cause eye irritation. It also does not have the vitamins that can actually promote growth.

What I Like about Lilith is that she's so straight to the point and provides all the necessary information in her videos in a very organised way. I've seen some videos on TH-cam where the person spends a lot of time promoting their channel in their videos or blabbering irrelevant things before getting to the point and then just go through the actual purpose of the video real quick and that's it.

Around half a year ago I started to rinse off my make-up (from eyes) with olive oil. And I really noticed that my eyelashes became thicker and longer as well.

THE CASTOR OIL IS 60 ML AND I START TO PUT IT ON MY EYELASHES LAST WEEK AND IT REAALLY WORKED WELL.

HI the tried castor oil on its own for about 6 week on my lashes and saw no improvement. This week i started using argan oil i will give it 6 weeks to see if it works. If that don't work i will try a 3rd castor oil, a 3rd vitamin E oil. & a 3rd, coconut oil all mixed together and see if that works for my lashes. I will give it 6 weeks.

Castor oil is good, but it's not that magical (as shown in your video). Looking at your b&a pics I could even think that you are tricking us and you actually used am extra product, maybe latisse or something. I can tell this because of that redness un your eyelids and the incredible lenght and width you've got. I know people who has used castor oil every single day and the don't get half the results you did.

You can see the edges of fake eyelashes--you are not simply using mascara. You are wearing fake lashes applique. Why the hoax? Trying to have a large number of views in hope of getting paid?
Here's my personal experience using organic castor oil for a facial skin / body condition (eczema) and NOT for eyelash/eyebrow growth for more than 3 months: I did notice slight, and I mean slight lash growth--nothing really to write about. I also notice some blurry vision throughout the day. Note that I don't use castor oil to enhance my eyelashes, but simply as a natural moisturizer that seems to provide comfort to my skin conditions. Hope this is helpful.

I mixed castor oil and coconut oil and applied it every night before bed and saw results about a week or two after starting the treatment. Now I've been using castor/coconut oil for a few months. Though my eyelashes are definitely longer, they aren't really that much thicker- I think it also has to do with your genes as well, unfortunately :(

phoenix_truong u can but it thickens the lashes and makes it fall less more than making it longer i would give it a 30/70 ratio 70 for thickness.. while caster oil is more on making it longer ! it depends on what u want i mix them up u can also use it on ur hair makes my hair thicker, longer and healthier !

Thanks both for your beauty and for these tips. If I still used castor oil I would store and apply it exactly like you described. :) But it's sticky for me anyway and I can't stand even the light smell of it, so I had to switch to serums like Cherish Lash. Sometimes the result is even better (and quicker).

Mixing it with almond oil might be also beneficial, but almond oil has brightening benefits and could lighten the color of your lashes, making them less visible.

most any kind of oil will work, you don't need the expensive cold pressed...I rubbed coconut oil all over my face just as a moisturizer and was shocked when I saw how long my lashes grew. I really didn't believe this stuff worked, but it really does.

Hey Lilith! Did you change your diet during these 6 months? Did you take any multi-vitamins? I'm asking because the chane could come from this factor and not from the oil.
According to Google , it's safe to apply caster oil to eyelashes but doesn't actually work according to four different medical officers . Also it deters armodillos ... Just incase you're wondering . .
