Latino’s are taught from a young age to cater to others you love and care for. It’s a sign of respect for you to serve or cater to the person you love and respect first. So she’s definitely not young for thinking that way. She was RAISED that way. However I think when you’re someone like J-Lo who has dated very young men and lots of men in general, she’s at a point in her life where she doesn’t want to cater anymore (if she was the type to cater). If you date a lot when you’re young and aren’t with someone if you’re older, you grow impatient and don’t want to cater to someone anymore. Life changes your views. But some people never go through it and still cater.

Remember the episode where they were talking about their first impressions of each other and Tamar said she didn't hit it off with Jeannie in the beginning because Jeannie had looked at her a certain way or something dumb like that, when they first met and Tamar didn't like her since....I think she's still holding onto that and shading Jeannie every chance she gets....it's sad!😒

LOL What drove me crazy during this segment was the fact that Jeanie and Tamera were saying the same thing and everyone praised Tamera's reiteration of Jeanie's point, but dismissed Jeanie....after making her wait a whole segment to get her point across.
Well she takes too long to get it across. She's always trying to be deep and churchy and it comes off contrived.
osimeon00 She takes the same amount of time as every other woman on that panel. Jeannie's method of storytelling is organic and always has a point. If we're being honest, if Jeannie wasn't digging deep with her "preaching" moments, the Girl Chats would be severely superficial in content and responses because each of the other hose give you the same recycled content just in new packages (i.e., "Sexy" Adrienne, "Brown Liquor and Multiple Boyfriends" Loni, "Yoooooou Tried it" Tamar, and "Sister, Sister/I Love Adam" Tamera). There's nothing wrong with the other hosts' commentary, but it's always nice to have Jeannie there doing voices of Mama Mai or "preaching" to the audience because it's fresh and you never know what you're going to get with her.
The way Tamar disrespects Jennie on national television is disgusting! Jennie is better than me because Tamar would have heard my mouth from day one! Jennie is a grown ass woman who deserves the same amount of respect that she gives Tamar BUT there is nothing wrong with putting someone in their place who constantly tries and disrespects you!

Gosh, Tamar's jealousy is sooo obvious. And I think Jeanie is doing the right thing actually, killing her with kindness. One day, Tamar will realize what she's done and apologize. If I was Tamar, I'd be so embarrassed to see myself acting like this on national television, it's so sad and disrespectful.

I usually don't feed into the Tamar not liking Jeanie thing... but this segment, it totally seemed like Tamar wasn;t listening, and was ready to dismiss anything Jeanie was saying, even though Jeanie was paying her a compliment. And Jeanie ended up needing Tamera, in a way, to reiterate a point that Jeanie could have made, if she just got a chance to speak.
I was about to comment the exact same thing. everybody says that Tamar comes for Jeannie in every clip & show but TODAY? I love you Tamar but that was a little much like dang girl let her get a word out instead of focusing on contradicting everything that she says

Tamar is utterly disgusting and needs to glide some chill pill down into her system... she specifically have something up for Jeannie and for a sure fact she can handle her way better. She aint treat the others in such manner and many of the episodes she attacks Jeannie like that. I watched the video again lol and if I'm correct, Jeannie was referring to the Virtuous Woman who cared for her husband and family which is exactly what Tamar implied when she was talking about the oxtails, I guess it could be perceived that it was for more than just her family but I think overall Jeannie meant towards their respective husbands and families.
+J Brown No she wasn't. When did Jeannie ever say or implicate, "be that to the world?". Provide examples, please. Jeannie didn't say anything about doing things for other people. She explained how the virtuous woman cooks, cleans, maintains a household, takes care of the children, she's resourceful and uses her skills to make money and provide. That is what Jeannie said. Don't pretend like she actually did or said anything wrong just because you don't like her.

I think Tamar has a problem accepting compliments. I totally got what Jeannie was trying to say. Tamar actually has a lot of the qualities of the Proverbs 31 woman.
