Hi ,I have just by chance watched your video . Takes me back to my youth. I went all over Shropshire and especially south of Shrewsbury with my late father who dug by hand and operated trenchers just the same as the one shown on your video.He must have laid hundreds of miles of clay pipes in his time. He worked for the WarAgg (war ministry for food production during and after the war) based at Condover Camp then was self employed for a while before working for Kinch Parry Ltd , Baston Hill.
