CC is a point guard and AR is a forward. AR is on the boards and in the paint is expected to get offensive and defensive. CC being a pg handles the ball and is a play maker that creates an opening of defence to pass or score. 13 assists means CC team mates made the bucket on her pass. If they miss the pass or its stolen CC is credited with a turnover as well as missing a shot. So her numbers are going to be high until her team mates click with her aggressive playing style. This is not a negative it is called growing pains. AR can't raise her assists be cause her primary roll is offence/defensive rebounds or taking a shot. AR's attitude of walking away before the game was over because she couldn't continue her double double streak revealed Chicago Sky's willingness to allow ARs success in chasing down the record. That's a coaching issue and I applaud the coach for backing her player. Fever's coach however pulled CC out a game which I believe when you're significantly ahead in points is a good thing to rest up you player. But by the time they out CC back in there as I believe a 4 point difference. Too close in probate because 4 points is an easy target for 2 threes and you're already behind. CC is ROTY without a doubt when you look at skill and the achievements that these skills have wrought. CC stats are being compared to non rookies and have surpassed most achievements by record setters in the past including non rookies. If that is not enough for CC to win ROTY then the fix is in.
