Thank you! It is one of my favourite locations in The Cotswolds, and one that often gets overlooked, although that of course means it is unspoilt and quiet. Thanks for watching, Take care, Paul
Hello Paul - greetings from Poland. It's lovely to be back in Elmley Castle again. I love your conversations that we have during our walks - this one is no exception. All about the different way buildings are constructed in the village. By the way, by the end of November, we are under snow here in Poland. It stays with us until mid-March! A lovely walk through the woods with views across to Upton on Severn. However, the purpose of our walk has been thwarted. Elmley Castle is on private land but your photogrpahs were great. What a superb panaramic view from Bredon Hill. The still photographs at the end of this wonderful video were superb. I really ehjoyed today. It was lovely. Thank you
Thank you! I enjoyed this walk except for I couldn't do what I had set out to do! But, it was great revisiting Elmley Castle and being high up in the Cotswold Hills again.
Thank you! Yes, I thought that there was public access land at the top of the hill - there is, but it sadly doesn't include the bit where the castle ruins are - presumably because of the deer park. Thank you for watching and commenting. Take care, Paul.
Thank you Roy! I saw that you had your booster in the snow at Alcester. I have mine on Wednesday - a trek all the way down to Bristol - some 35 miles away! I may do a video about it. Hope you have a great week too. 👍
Thank you Jay! Yes, I find it easier talking to camera and microphone when there aren't any other people around. I was the only one on this walk, and the village was very quiet. I tend to sus out places to find the ones I feel most comfortable in. I found doing the last part of the Cotswold Way trail hard, because it finishes in the middle of a busy city! When I started my channel back in February, I was extremely nervous, and self concsious, but I have found talking to the camera easier the more I have done the videos - although some days I seem to have more confidence in doing pieces to camera than others - on those days I just take photos and video clips and stick some music to it. Thanks for your comment and support. Take care, Paul.
We just left the Cotswolds. You have such lovely footage here. How crazy that the footpath sign leads you to a dead end. We love your conversational style. So glad we’ve found you.
Aww! Thank you! That's very kind. I have done over 35 videos so far from around The Cotswolds - I usually do a new one from that area every couple of months, and produce around 10 videos overall each month. Bredon Hill and Elmley Castle is one of my favourite areas of the Cotswolds - usually very quiet and it is unspoilt. Thanks so much! Take care, Paul
@@westcountrywanderings We are already trying to plan a trip back for next year. We're a bit jealous that you're in that area so frequently. 10 videos a month is a lot! You must be a much better editor than we are! We're adding Bredon Hill and Elmley Castle to the list of must visits.
@@welltravelledlife Well, I am lucky, as that is where I live (in the Cotswolds). I mix the videos up, so some are shorter, to reduce the editing time - as that can be quite lengthy - as you would know, being YT Creators yourselves. All The Best, Paul
The Cotswold scarp, very nice 😃 That was a rather braw wee autumnal wander so it was 😊 I really love the homes around here, fantastic ❤
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for a lovely comment. Paul.
The hillforts on top of Bredon hill and the views are lovely
Thank you!

Amazing images of the forest and the castle! Beautiful views! Like from Mallorca Spain
Thank you very much! Glad you liked the views, despite it being a cold misty November day. Thanks again, Paul
How lovely to see the late autumn colours. You pretty much had the walk to yourself. Thanks for trying your hardest to get close to the castle.

Hi Paul - Good views from the hill. Liked the houses.

I wish I could speak as easily on my videos as you do on yours. Beautiful video. Great job Paul. Thanks for sharing this.
