Really appreciate the effort in this video - it’s so well done. Not being from America, I’ve never heard of this park before - looks amazing! Would love to visit !
Great video! Nice to see so many "cooling off" stations. (lol!) We will be visiting next week and I'm so excited for our first visit to this beautiful park - but temps are supposed to be in the 100s. Our home park is Great America - plenty of great coasters for sure 😃 - but they are all out in the open. So zippin' through the trees and overlooking the lush Ozarks?! Absolutely priceless!! I can't wait! (My husband and I are in our 50s but we're 8 years old at heart!)
Giant Barn Swing is my favorite ride at SDC that is not a rollercoaster. My absolute favorite rollercoaster is Time Traveler! I’ve ridden a lot of rollercoasters and I can honestly say Time Traveler is my favorite that I’ve ever ridden.
Me and my nephew were just there this past Thursday and Friday after our trip to Orlando go canceled. I hadn’t been to Silver Dollar City in 21 years. Lol and I live in central AR. But I really enjoyed the roller coasters and water rides. River Blast was closed though. And the food was great. We did the food pass for $32.50. Well worth it.
I love the American Plunge ride! I rode it as a kid and now in adulthood. Swinging Bridge is not a ride, because you have to do all the work by walking, lol.
@@haddiedoesstuff Last time I went there I was a kid. The Thunderation ride was just built and brand new.... and was the first real "Roller Coaster" Silver Dollar City had. No loops but still the first real roller coaster they had lol. Blew me away when I seen all the huge roller coasters hey have now!!! Makes me really want to go back :). Used to go every year when I was a kid.... back when ticket for 1 day was $20 lol.
I’m going Thursday-Sunday this week! I’m so excited! Is there any suggestions rides and activities to do? And how tall do you have to be if you wanna do time traveler
I'm going this Saturday and Sunday & it looks like a great park. Incredibly similar to Dollywood, not strange since they are sister parks, but even a little better. I can't wait. And "NO", a swinging bridge is not a ride. An attraction maybe but not a ride. Nice video.
I am goin there Wednesday. Been saving over a year to ride the epic (time traveler). I always travel alone. None of my pals have the money or time to join me for my adventures.
Masks required, temp checks, lighter crowds, outdoor shows, social distancing. We have a video of our first visit of the season that features a lot of the changes. It's different, but still fun!
TPF! Travel Adventures So glad you answered my comment just looking out for my girlfriend & daughter love all you guys do sending all the very best to your family ❤️😍💕
I hated fire in the hole because it was one of the old rides, so the seats were small and whenever we would turn, drop or speed up it would dig into my ribs
All of the rides stay open until the end of the season except for riverblast (Oct. 18) and American Plunge and Mystic River Falls (both close Oct. 31). Most of the big coasters will close down in 32-42 degree weather though.
my 1st trip to SDC was in 1972..during the "robbery" on the steam train, the robber asked the little boy in front of me for his bubble gum...to the robbers surprise, the boy had a metal cap gun and clunked him over the head yelling " you ain't getting my gum!!!" i think the robber got a good knot on his head and probably never asked for a kids gum again
By definition, the Swinging Bridge is not a ride. It has to move you in some way or another, and not you move it lol. I believe it is in the ride category for marketing reasons. I plan to visit here today and ride Time Traveler for the 1st time
@@TPF Thank you! I rode Time Traveler as my first ride and it was so fun, and a great way to celebrate National Roller Coaster Day. The drop and the loop is my favorite part of it. Will definitely ride again.
Thanks I really enjoyed seeing the park from a mom's point of view. I'm bringing my kids and to hear your opinion was very helpful.
Have a great trip!
I love silver Dollar City it's one of my favorite theme parks
Really appreciate the effort in this video - it’s so well done. Not being from America, I’ve never heard of this park before - looks amazing! Would love to visit !
Thank you! Hope you can visit sometime!
It is definitely amazing! It's not just the rides either, but the general atmosphere of the entire park. It's very family-friendly and down-to-earth.

Great review, this video helped me and my kids what rides we would do!
For some reason, when my family went to SDC when we were growing up, we always went to the left at town square.
Can't wait to see Branson Missouri again so home country there so peaceful and fun there love you guys God 🙏🙏 blessings to all
Good bless you! ❤️
This was so very helpful! Thank you.
Going there next Thursday with my best friend!!! We plan to ride everything!!
Idk about you but still expecting an epic ride at Galleon like last year, too!

Giant Barn Swing is my favorite ride at SDC that is not a rollercoaster. My absolute favorite rollercoaster is Time Traveler! I’ve ridden a lot of rollercoasters and I can honestly say Time Traveler is my favorite that I’ve ever ridden.
Yes swinging bridge is definitely a ride
its fun though
Wildfire is my all time favorite SDC ride!! My favorite non-coaster is Grandfathers Mansion!!
Oh grandfather’s mansion is so cool! You feel like your falling! You actually might if you don’t be careful! 😂
3:47 my grandfather actually helped build this ride. He helped water proof the safe box too in the front.
That's awesome!
Your grandfather is an absolute legend
The Swinging Bridge (as well as Grandfather's Mansion) falls within the attractions department which oversees the rides.
Thanks for the video it brings back childhood memories
We go to Branson every spring and fall can’t wait to go again
Lots of new names for old rides haven't been there in years and been thinking about going again soon
1st time going to Silver Dollar oty on family vacation video really helped with our 3 year old
So glad to hear that! ❤️
I love this channel
Thank you!!!
We was at SDC a few years ago and it was over 100 degrees but I still enjoyed going

Barn swing is terrifying the first couple swings then I get used to it..
but oh man those first couple
Ha! Yes!
The swinging bridge is a ride
It's not really it's more of just a thing to go on just for like a little bit of going on riot and stuff
Wait- do you mean the barn swing?
@@zCharlieXD the swinging bridge if you watch the whole video you will find out
I truly believe that a bridge would be a ride
I remember when the "star attraction" ride Fire in the Hole lol.
Its my fav ride so... i guess it is haha

Love it, love your channel, so helpful.
Could you do a video on all the food that is open during this time? Like snacks and restaurants?
Thank you and great idea!
Wow Fire in The Hole! It's still there?!
I rode that 40 years ago!
Yes, it has undergone some changes, but it has been here forever!
My favorite as a kid back in the 70’s
its a ride

Thanks for another Great video! We are going to be in branson the 2nd thru the 9th of August. Cant wait! What is Midnight madness?
During Moonlight Madness, SDC has extended hours into the night, fireworks, etc. Fun!!!
Yes it’s a ride
I really want to try out Moonlight Madness this year! Never partipated in anything like that before.
How fun is Outlaw Run in the dark? 🙃
Sooooo fun!

Thanks! Will definitely try it. You guys stay safe and sane lol
My favorite in the dark is the time traveler
OMG AHHHHH NAGITO

I love Silver Dollar City! It is an annual thing for my family! I personally love all the rides except outlaw run because it makes my neck hurt.
ah same! its annual for me to buy tickets, but due to covid i cant. we get the yearly passes.
Kennywood near Pittsburgh is another classic amusement park!
This is really helpful
Ya the bridge is not a ride but I like it. Love your videos. Makes me happy to watch. God Bless always

Haven’t seen y’all lately how have y’all been hopefully having fun anyway god bless
Thank you! Lots going on, but we are well! 😁
My favorite roller coaster there is Thunderation and my favorite ride is electrospin
What is the best backpack you have found to carry your SDC cups for you and the kids?
I love my Kavu Paxton Pack.
@@TPF Perfect, Thanks!
Last time I was here the bologna was only 3/4 smoked and I asked for half past noon 🤷♂️
Does the wait time only work at the park compared to being a home or something
We go with family at least once a year, I'm just wondering how is the park experience different with Covid-19?
Masks required, temp checks, lighter crowds, outdoor shows, social distancing. We have a video of our first visit of the season that features a lot of the changes. It's different, but still fun!
Thanks for the ride again love you sunscreen hopefully on that really RED face wear it every day be careful 🙏😍❤️👍
When I get overheated, my face turns bright red (not a sunburn). Eva calls it my potato face (she means tomato). 😂

thats why i love it🤣
are the sidewalks super sidewalkie?

Outlaws da best
We love it!
You don't consider Marvel Cave a ride? You do ride that trolley at the end. 😛
I recognize that large marble ball at the grand exposition from Celebration City!(anyone remember that? :p)
Yes! We miss Celebration City!
Are the roller coasters open during Christmas time?
It will depend on the weather. When it gets too cold, they close them.
All of the rides stay open until the end of the season except for riverblast (Oct. 18) and American Plunge and Mystic River Falls (both close Oct. 31). Most of the big coasters will close down in 32-42 degree weather though.

Haha! What a memory!
Do you think it is worth the unlimited fast past or just the 8 rides? We will be there 2 days.
If you have two days, I think you'll be fine with just the 8 rides, especially if you will there during the week. Have fun!
Just wanted to add that July 4th weekend is one of the year's busiest, so if you're going then, the unlimited might be worth it.
@@TPF thank you very much! We will be there on a Saturday and Sunday first weekend in August.
Compared to Powder Keg how scary is Time Traveler?
FTR Powder Keg is a 10 for ME
Maybe an 8? 😁
I’m going in 2 weeksa
Swinging Bridge is a physical attraction, but not a ride
