im doing a halo grand prix map on mcc xbox one, i only came to the channel for the teleporter vid, but then ive been watching EVERY VIDEO. yourwilly's a rlly good teacher (for halo reach forge)
5:45 That's not what respawn zone radius does. You actually spawn in a "ring" around the respawn zone based on where the camera is pointing, defaulting to where the object is facing. The radius effects enemy team detection, IE that message that says " /!\ There are enemies nearby!" when you try to select it. The game kind of doesn't care where you spawn and you can "dogpile" spawns there, sometimes on top of each other, contrary to what you said. The orientation part you mentioned earlier is correct though. *Inv_Res_P1, P2* and *P3* will be active on it's respective phase only and will not be available in other phases. This allows you to create fireteam exclusive spawn points to allowing access to special routes and tools or artifically split up the team for more dynamic gameplay flow. 1.) Set to Red/Blue to control what teams can spawns there. 2.) Set spawn sequence to control which *fireteam* can spawn there: 0 = Only Fireteam 1 1 = Only Fireteam 2 2 = Only Fireteam 3 3 = Entire team, all fireteams can spawn here *Inv_Res_Zone* allows the entire team to use it. It will be active based on the phase it's set to and will be permanently active for the rest of the match. Perect for base and vehicle spawns. Set to Red/Blue to control what teams can spawns there. Set spawn sequence to control which *which phase* it activates on: 0 = Active in Phase 1 1 = Active in Phase 2 2 = Active in Phase 3 Also, Initial Spawn can be set to fireteam usage only, so you can spawn one squads... say, in your base to grab vehicles at the start, and have two forward attacking spawns like normal allowing you to artifically split the team up to specific routes or objective areas/tools. 1.) Set to Red/Blue to control what teams can spawns there. 2.) Set game label to "Invasion" 3.) Set spawn sequence to control which fireteam uses the initial spawn: 0 = Only Fireteam 1 1 = Only Fireteam 2 2 = Only Fireteam 3 If you want any fireteam to spawn there, you can simply not edit the spawn point. Useful if the entire team spawns in one area. Note that Fireteams are auto assigned at the start of the match in a 1, 2, 3 order and for each additional player that joins the session. First player gets set to Alpha squad, second get set to Beta, third gets assigned to Charlie and then it repeats back to Alpha squad/ Players leaving and joining matches can cause players to "stack" onto a single squad, creating huge fireteams that can spawn the entire team off of one player, so bare this in mind when playing with fireteam setups!
@truetroy12 i tried i wanted to make a tutorial that explained everything about invasion that i know with out making people who watch my video confused. don't forget to watch the other parts as i show off cool tricks in those
I dont get the phase respawn thing, i want therevto be a specific respawn zome for each phase, but this whole squads bit makes it seem like the specific spawn zones are there all game
your videos are really awesome but you should really cut the blackboard intro so it is written right from the start because it's too long from my point of view. but nice vid, thanks!!!!
Thanks for the tutorial but can u change the loadouts for certain teams like blue & red team and make it so only certain loadouts will appear at a certain phase. Or do u allready hav a tutorial on that?
9 Years later and finally making maps on the PC version. Thanks man!

YourWilly = EPIC TUTORIALS
each squad has a number you just make sure that the spawn zone has the same number to it and it will show up when that player is respawning
@samorivideos6 no as there always the attackers so in the game options you tell it, Elites or Spartans and thats what team is set for the objectives
@truetroy12 i tried i wanted to make a tutorial that explained everything about invasion that i know with out making people who watch my video confused. don't forget to watch the other parts as i show off cool tricks in those
Making a (hopefully) cool reach invasion map in 2021 wherever you are Willy thank you for you tutorial.
I dont get the phase respawn thing, i want therevto be a specific respawn zome for each phase, but this whole squads bit makes it seem like the specific spawn zones are there all game
i might just be one smart boi but im a beginner and I can understand how to create an invasion map!
Thanks a lot I'm using your tips n tricks even though I'm in 2020
None of my friends play halo, is there a way to set up bots to test my map?
Thanks professor
How do i make elites be in the defense ?
not in invasion only in slayer if you tell everyone to switch to elite
i
just one question, can you make it so both teams are spartans, or is it automatically spartans vs elites?
@MrYourWilly hey i think he ment delete objects
there goes his budget
@MrYourWilly It souned like you said 16 vs 16
I still dont get the squads. How do u know witch squad is matched up with a certain spwan zone?
Using this in 2020 on PC.
Spartans is't all ways attackers you can change that under game options before you start the game.
your videos are really awesome but you should really cut the blackboard intro so it is written right from the start because it's too long from my point of view.
but nice vid, thanks!!!!

You just have to go into a custom game lobby, change the settings, and save the file. You’ve probably figured this out by now after 9 years lol.
@@deadbattery3224 hahah thanks for the reply, I did in fact figure it out by now lol
LOL
@@deadbattery3224hi
Are you still active?
@TheGamingBananas sell?
Game label doesn’t work anymore for MCC
Wait really
How do some custom games have them? And were they able to spawn?
What about respawn zones?
how do you sell
Wait wait um you can only have a cap of 16 so 16 vs 16 is imposable.
can vehicles capture objectives?
Nine years late but no.
10 years late, but they can BE objectives, not CAPTURE objectives.
This isn't working on mcc
@@coltforce_playz2291 I know, I wanted to let people who are maybe looking for instructions on how to do it on MCC to go to another tutorial
