About breeding, what pokemon do you recommend starting breeding for beginners? Comp/semicomp? Or just pokemon with a few 31s? Also the FIRST tip you mention is nuzlocking and I SECOND THAT! Nuzlocking this game is absolutely fun and not easy at all. I wiped at pryce yesterday and thats it for attempt 2. Never thought that pryce could end my run! I always thought this old man was free gym leader and then i just get wiped,probably cuz i went in blind as there arent that many resources on the web about johto gym leader teams. But nuzlockes are amazing way to make this game interesting and challenging
As an old player I suggest breeding genderless pokemon first to get the hang of it. Magnemites is a good start to see how things roll with the breeding mechanics. After you become better start breeding your favorites.
@@pellakos 3 week later update: I also think breeding genderless pokemons is broken. You don't need to worry about gender at all and you can easily crank many breeds in less time. The problem is they don't sell fast, and now I have 8 2x31 natured staryu sitting in my box that took me 500k to make and I'm worried if they will sell before the Halloween event

One thing I like to do is give out pokes near starter areas to newer players. I like to give out meowths/abras near pewter city or violet. I call out in local if anyone wants free pokes. I throw in a few thousand sometimes too. (I have a team rocket name so it makes me laugh being a good guy)

missing gen 6+ pokemons is a really unfortunate thing for me cause i never had the chance to play these gens due to not having the latest consoles.And it made me a bit dissapointed cause i though that you could still get later gens like other romhacks.And considering the way this game works it will never happen at all sadly but i will hope for the best
What are the rules for an hardcore nuzlocke in pokemmo? there are differences for "You cannot level past the next Gym Leaders strongest Pokémon."? Or the league that refills your pokemon healt?
I'm doing a johto hardcore nuzlocke as of now. Here are the rules that I follow, idk if everyone will agree on these tho. I made a reddit post so I'm just copy pasting these but I did some modifications in these, hope you will find this useful CLASSIC NUZLOCKE RULES: 1. I am only allowed to catch the first pokemon i encounter into at every location 2. if any of my pokemons faint, i cannot use it for any purpose whatsoever. 3. If I wipe, the game is over. HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES: 1. I cannot use items in battle. Held items are allowed, but items like Potions, X items, Status condition healers like antidote are not allowed. 2. Despite pokeMMO having level caps, I cannot level up my pokemon over the level of upcoming gym leader's highest level pokemon. SOME MORE RULES THAT I IMPLEMENTED: 1. Dupes clause: If I get a legal encounter, but I have already have a pokemon which belongs to the evolution tree of the encountered pokemon registered in my pokedex, I am allowed to skip that pokemon as an encounter and try again at the same location. 2. Gift pokemons AND interractable pokemons (except swarms and alphas) like soodowoodo and eevee are static encounters. For example if i got the gift eevee in goldenrod, I can still get my encounter in goldenrod by fishing or surfing etc. 3. Buying from GTL is banned, but selling isn't (I'm out of the habit of not having money hehehehe) 4. probably gonna be the most controversial rule: I am allowed to transfer my pokemons to my main account for the purpose of levelling up. This is just done to ensure i dont spend a lot of time grinding. 5. If i encounter a shiny i can catch it, obv that's cuz even my main acc doesn't have a shiny and I would just transfer it to main acc. 6. I can encounter my Pokemon any way I want, as long as it's the first one that I encounter and it isn't dupes. This might seem straightforward, but I can use sweet scent and lures to get my encounter. Edit: as for the league healing your pokemons, I see it being completely fine. You heal your pokemons after an elite four match anyway, cuz you are allowed to do so as you're not healing IN a battle. You can use potions and healing items outside battles.
i just played this game not to long ago and its fun and all and bring back so much memories from my child hold but damn how is it boring when you get stuck and its a shame but understandable that there is no way to buy in game money with real money cause some times you need that money to get un stuck cause some of those prices in the trade link are insane
You can buy RP vouchers with IRL $$$ to sell for pokeyen if you truly wanted. Although id normally recommend EV training or optimizing your team if your stuck in a storyline, do w.e makes you happy! GL!
Because persian doesn’t get the pickup ability so u miss out on half ur profit from items u pickup like comet shards, rare candies, rare bones and dragon scales. Hope this addresses what you were asking
@@patrouski Thanks for the clarification! I figured that something like this could be the case but the idea that Evolving up could somehow make the 'mon worse felt unintuitive. Guess it's something to keep in mind every time where an early Evolution in a line is noteworthy because of their typing or ability or possibly something else that i don't know about- something that might change for the worse when Evolving up.
its the dock town of the 1st region that was in the game, kantos been in the game the longest by far so most people have it complete + more people play it for gen 1 nostalgia + verm is the city with the dock to travel to other regions. It used to be viridian before docks/other regions were added.
@@NyZuuu They made it like that so there’s always something to look forward to; people can always search for a legendary and try to hold it for as long as they can. The biggest reason is for balancing reasons though; if everyone has access to 5 regions worth of legendaries the game wouldn’t be that fun pvp wise
@@NyZuuu also, the legendary Pokémon you can’t keep don’t count towards you national dex, so you don’t really have to worry about that. You’ll still be able to go to Mt. Silver without catching a legendary like Mewtwo

its dumb af breeding consumes the mons
its not dumb what would be dumb is not havingit consume your pokemon
in normal pokemon, it doesnt consume ur pokemon. Like in normal pokemon games when ur done breeding, u can take the mons back
