Over 6k hours in the game without a complete pokedex is a different kind of flex :P I played through all regions with my first character but kinda rushed and played the regions one by one. I realized that I enjoy playing pokemmo the most when I play the storylines but with having the option to get teams with pokemon from different regions. Not so much the grind and shiny hunting. So I started my 2nd character yesterday and now I basically catch every new Pokémon I come across. I have a somewhat random order of visiting the regions and will play them alongside each other instead of finishing them one by one and only then moving on to the next. A very cool method I used was asking chatgpt to give me a random order of regions and tie all the storylines in a single one. It isn't a detailed story but gave me some ideas as an outline for the playthrough. Right now, I am in the rock tunnel in Kanto with 3 badges, a Ponita, Wartortle and Dugtrio and 33 caught pokemon. Using some of them for arena fights like onix with sturdy to set up stealth rocks is fun.
@@Ikkazun The most important lesson I had to learn is not to think too hard about how I play. I don't play regularly and every time I think about the "perfect" team or EV training for the storylines it takes a lot of fun from it. Also, do not focus on a single aspect too much. Do whatever you want to do for the moment and switch your gameplay up. For the postgame storylines I like to use different pokemon than for the storylines. Another approach is to use ~3 core pokemon and fill the team with whatever pokemon has an advantage against the current gym leader (if you have pokemon at that level from previous regions). Then build a team that is good against the E4 of that region. Both approaches let you use a broader variety of pokemon you may like. That way it doesn't feel like 95% of the pokedex only exists for completion purposes and keeps the game fresh. To not burn out you also may have to set goals for the endgame or challenge yourself during runs. Or just make multiple characters for different styles of challenge runs. After all of the postgames the only options you have unfortunately is to set your own goals. I recommend checking out videos from Patrouski to get some inspiration.
scamming is bannable in pokemmo, so its pretty rare people will scam you even for a 5x31 pokemon. Always good to confirm in whispers and get a screenshot just in case tho@@number1941
man this vid was a flex he literally just had to level half of the mons lmao

How's it going now? Are you still not burnt out? I feel the same way about the game and once I beat the story, there seems like nothing else to do
