Words Cannot Really Describe This Wee Place!
We have been to Torridon many times now but have not had the pleasure of the beautiful village of Shieldaig and its residents before now.
After journeying from Glencoe with the caravan we arrived and set up on our pitch at the awesome Shieldaig Camping and Cabin site, thoroughly recommend and will be our go to place when staying in or near Torridon. Perfect hosts, great facilities, perfect cleanlieness and amazing views. Link to their website below this description.
We walked down to the village and were lovestruck straight away. As we wandered along the front we came across the Tigh an Eilean Hotel with its adjoining bar...a bar that had draught Guinness, enough said. After a few beers outside and soaking up the views we headed inside where we enjoyed the company of Fiona and Cammie (later to be joined by dad who was summoned by phone!). We had a brilliant night of chat and laughter and dancing and won't forget these people, a credit to their village and made our stay even more memorable.

Loved that climb, we were going to go up the normal track but the front was the view we've always loved so front it was! Tested us that one.
