Thrilling Beinn Alligin Hike: Tackling the Horns like a Pro
The Awesomeness that is Beinn Alligin.
There is always something magical about spending time in Torridon, it is like no other place we've visited. After a very wet week in Glencoe we ventured onwards to Torridon and set our sights on the mighty Beinn Alligin and a traverse across the Horns of Alligin.
A mixed bag of weather but nothing could spoil this climb.

    Thanks for posting this video. I have climbed Beinn Eighe five times, last time in 2008, and it never ceases to intrigue me. So I really enjoyed this excellent video of yours. Beinn Eighe is my second favourite after Liathach. You should try my third favourite if you want a real chanllenge: An Teallach.

    Many thanks for a great video. How was the Chalamain Gap created? I am assuming it goes back to the Ice Age, given the number of huge boulders. I guess it must be similar to the boulder field at the summit of the Lairig Ghru.

      Yeah pretty much formed by melt water from the large glacier that covered that area. We loved it, great fun picking your way through the sometimes huge boulders. Thanks for watching and for commenting, really appreciate that.

      Loved that climb, we were going to go up the normal track but the front was the view we've always loved so front it was! Tested us that one.

      Thank you, at least the weather gave us views at the top which we were grateful for. It took us about three hours to get to the summit. We always take ages as we are videoing and snapping pics and like staying up there as long as we can before coming back to reality! We were about an hour and a half to get back down as we kept up a steady pace. Great wee mountain though, will be back up soon to do the Munro on the opposite side of the loch, Meall Buidhe. A wee winter camp coming up I think. Have you climbed this one yet?

Was hard at first, climbed Ben Hope last year and it nearly killed me, and the wife, so did some Corbets for practise, and climbed Conival and Ben More Assynt a few weeks ago without any issues of sore legs

      @kennethmccracken6652 Hi Kenneth, thank you for your reply. I also have a knee injury from a work accident, but it doesnt sound as bad as yours. Yes, hopefully see you on the mountains one day, I keep up with a couple of other bloggers, mainly Out of Ayrshire and when I'm up the mountains, and talk with folk, there is a great fraternity, most folk I meet are from Glasgow, Falkirk, Edinburgh area, nice helpful people, I'm from near Aberdeen, all the best, Angus

    Hello,first off I'd like to say I enjoy watching your videos, there nice relaxing ,funny and well put together. I need your help tho. I've recently had to start up a new fb page due to changing phones and couldn't for the life of me remember password to get back into it so I gave up and started a new one but my problem is that I can't remember what the munro page I was on ,it was the same one that you guys would post any new videos up to,I still watch you on TH-cam but I'd like to rejoin that munro page. If you could help that would be great. Keep up the good work.

Could take a wee screen shot of the groups we are in and see if that jogs your memory if that would help?
