Grease is cheap. Don't use vaseline. It dries up and it attracts more dirt. You can buy a huge tube for 5 bucks, basically years worth for the average person.

Can someone pls tell me how i can protect my kids bikes during winter. We liv in apt they say we must keep outside. I resently bought a mongoose perfect condtion. Hubby locked up on bike rack, i thought it was on back patio..anywsys now after jus 2 ,months kids say there's a lil rust on metal parts and chain.
