Can someone pls tell me how i can protect my kids bikes during winter. We liv in apt they say we must keep outside. I resently bought a mongoose perfect condtion. Hubby locked up on bike rack, i thought it was on back patio..anywsys now after jus 2 ,months kids say there's a lil rust on metal parts and chain. What is cheap trick way to fix and prevent damage during winter...thanks a bunch
No, that's why tire levers are not and should not made from metal. I don't think any bike owner can ignore the probability of damaging rim of this so called life hack.
Be cautious using a spoon or tire lever when you reinstall your tire as it's and easy way to pinch the new tube. Also if you zip tie you quick relase you better ride with a knife or sissors or you will be s.o.l when you flat

Stephanie Washington wrap the bikes in plastic, tarp or proper bike cover to prevent damage and use wd40 to clean up Rust hope it helps
