People immediately dismissing his claim (based on the title and first 3 minutes) have never participated in youth tournaments or had kids in youth tourneys. I’m only 4 minutes in. But it’s very possible this is NOT a case of a “sore loser”. There’s different divisions in these tourneys for a reason.

As someone that played handball vs way weaker teams at that age... It sucks. Yeah, we got a high as the winners, but then you sit down and think... And you get that something was totally off. Sadly, in my case we could not travel to play better teams at that age.

We didn’t purposely end up better than them, we went to hockey camps together, we did dry land training together, we even lifted at 11 years old together. These teams did none of that extra work. JJ says she doesn't believe the defendant, and I agree. It appears they did mix the teams differently than they expressed would be done in their literature. At the very least, the defendant seems or claims to be unsure about the specifics and doesn't offer any proof himself to show otherwise, which doesn't reflect well on him. Unfortunately the plaintiff didn't prepare well enough the fulfill the burden of proof as was his responsibility. Frankly I think any team in that age bracket that has only been together approximately a month shouldn't be entering into some sort of paid tournament venue to begin with, even with other teams at that same caliber of experience. That's getting too serious too fast, especially when it ends up in a court case.

People saying judge Judy doesn’t understand the difference between seasoned and unseasoned players are forgetting that the coach himself admitted they were only 3 weeks into being a team and he put them into a tournament knowing this. It’s his fault, not judge Judy’s for not understanding 😂😂

I don't know how football is but baseball we played by age until they hit high school. Some kids were smaller than us and some were bigger. You have to take it like it comes

Our little league is by age but we still have the divisions and younger kids can be in higher levels based on their skill but you still wouldn’t put AAA vs Majors. You play against a team in your division.

Listen. Totally off topic here. I don’t think the dads should have brought the kids to begin with, but unless their mom or another family member were waiting outside I would not have let Byrd lead them out like that. A television set in LA is the last place you want to leave your child alone. “Oh they’ll just wait with the producer” NO those are the scariest ones!!!!
