It was a good TPS, especially in Co-op. Played it start to finish split-screen with my bro back in the 360 days, fast paced, fluid, lots of movement and CQC mechanics, Helena rolling around blasting zombies with the Hydra or Leon pulling out a second pistol and going full John Wick until he runs out of stamina never really got old. The issue was being tied to the RE franchise and being more bombastic and action focused than RE4 and 5 combined, or better yet, its issue was being a mainline RE game rather than a spin-off.

I'm not a big fanboy for the Origins, but this game was and still is quite varied. This game handles the different stars WAY better then overhyped Cyberpunk 2077, and in general I haven’t heard of many games that offer such different starting points. Yes, different starts have similarities, but my run for human, dwarf and elf felt completely different, even despite the similar moments. Yes, there is a pesky rainbow elf in the game, but the player can get rid of him or blueball him. It's funny that being able to get rid of the rainbow characters made me dislike them less. P.S. Kunari guy is not at all interested in the rainbow at all, which especially contrasts with modern games, where the majority of followers are playersexuals. The Woukies don't shut up about "representation" and stuff, but I don't remember them being excited about the ability to romance (almost) all the companions in Fallout 4, because that game sucks and they unconsciously know it. With Veilguard they will go into complete denial to "own chuds"

Only problem is the translators don't actually know Early Modern English (i.e. King James English) so the dialogue ends up feeling very inauthentic at times.

What I was trying to say is that DEI is just one component but even as a game/RPG if you look at the mechanics it failed because everything from Dragon Age has been taken out, especially anything requiring strategy or party management.

Played it start to finish split-screen with my bro back in the 360 days, fast paced, fluid, lots of movement and CQC mechanics, Helena rolling around blasting zombies with the Hydra or Leon pulling out a second pistol and going full John Wick until he runs out of stamina never really got old. The issue was being tied to the RE franchise and being more bombastic and action focused than RE4 and 5 combined, or better yet, its issue was being a mainline RE game rather than a spin-off.

I'm not a big fanboy for the Origins, but this game was and still is quite varied. This game handles the different stars WAY better then overhyped Cyberpunk 2077, and in general I haven’t heard of many games that offer such different starting points. Yes, different starts have similarities, but my run for human, dwarf and elf felt completely different, even despite the similar moments. Yes, there is a pesky rainbow elf in the game, but the player can get rid of him or blueball him. It's funny that being able to get rid of the rainbow characters made me dislike them less.
P.S. Kunari guy is not at all interested in the rainbow at all, which especially contrasts with modern games, where the majority of followers are playersexuals. The Woukies don't shut up about "representation" and stuff, but I don't remember them being excited about the ability to romance (almost) all the companions in Fallout 4, because that game sucks and they unconsciously know it. With Veilguard they will go into complete denial to "own chuds"
