    I am driving my first Diesel truck. There are more aftermarket products that seem to be needed than I thought possible. Def products, Fuel products it’s like trying to dial in a combination to unlock the 500k miles. Remember when a diesel was a long term product with normal maintenance when you bought it?

    It seemed as though no matter what I did with my fuel additive that I wasn’t getting the best overall results with DEF consumption, and that led me to researching DEF additives..
    So far, the DEF/SCR additive is a winner and I’m seeing results.

    Thank you for these types of episodes where you interview the manufacturer and allow an open dialogue to cover real world user questions and applications. I never thought I would follow a channel or podcast of this type, but now I do. I tip my hat to you sir in Thanks for bringing this to these platforms. God Bless you and Merry Christmas!

    Just purchase my first diesel last week, a 2023 Chevy 2500HD emissions intact. Using Rislone DEF Treatment...waiting on the one time use bottle. Also I use Blue Peak cubes, bought with fuel points from purchasing diesel for my semi tractor trailer at work. Been told by friends to use the cheaper stuff sold at Tractor Supply, but dont really have to pay out of pocket. I've only used one cube so far, so we'll see how it goes.

    First off this sounds like an info commercial. I already have to speed money on DEF and diesel fuel treatment. Now I have to speed more money on DEF treatment. The cost to run a diesel truck is getting out of hand. First off the expensive DEF fluid should already have this treatment in its formulation.

      First time engine light came on, took semi to KW dealer. My company was charged $1,000 to have DEF tank removed, cleaned, all lines cleaned, reinstalled. 2nd time light came on, bought 2 bottles of Rislone DEF Cleaner, did its job in 300 miles and cleared the dash light. Choice is yours.

    I used to get particle filter limp mode on my Iveco 3.0 180hp -2021.
    My tips...
    * Min 2000 rpm. You need the exhaust flow.
    * Dont do/avoid short (cold) drives, run your engine hot. At least once a week.
    * I use Liqui Moly DEF Anti Crystal Additive Concentrate in my adblue.
    * Regular maintain your engine with the correct oil. Low SAPS Oil. I do oil service at least once every year and/or ~10.000 km.
    * Use quality fuel without RME. Here in EU we call it B0 diesel.
    * Sometimes i use injector cleaner with high amount of PEA.
    Have not had any problems since i start doing this.

    The best thing to do is delete it and get rid of it all. It’s complete garbage. All that BS does is make your truck unreliable. Break down all the time, decreases power, and cut your fuel mileage in half.

      Sounds like I need to delete my Ram 3500 so I can get 40 mpg!

    • @loveracing1988
      @loveracing1988 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@stgraves260 yeah no. Plenty of people have deleted and gained nothing for mpg. I'm already at +200 HP on ppei tuning I don't think I'm going to fain much more being deleted.

    • @stgraves260
      @stgraves260 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ Yeah I know that’s not true. I have never heard of anyone deleting their diesel truck and not gain MPG. Especially when the truck came with all the DPF/DEF BS on it. I know on a Ram 2500 4x4 Crew Cab 4x4 comes stock with a 32 gallon fuel tank and a 5.5 gallon tank for the DEF. The truck averages 16-17 MPG and that’s not even counting the DEF it goes through. When calculated with the DEF burn you can get about 2 tank fulls then you have to refill the DEF. I’m sure that differs when towing. So when calculating that in the truck is only getting around 14 MPG. I have friends that have done full deletes and are getting around 28 MPG and thats with 35” and 37” tall tires.

    • @loveracing1988
      @loveracing1988 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@stgraves260 I want whatever drugs you are on. You are way over stating fuel mileage gains and way over stating def usage. I don't even go through that much def while towing.
