In today's SEGA Lores video, we will be exploring the character backstory of Akira Yuki, the poster boy of Virtua Fighter series and master of the Hakkyoku-ken fighting style. Akira seeks to become the strongest martial artist by fighting worthy fighters in the World Fighting Tournament held by Judgement Six.

Love it when games break from the "main character is the all-arounder and/or beginner-friendly character" trope. We need more of that
Very convenient you cover both Sakura Wars and Virtua Fighter lore during a time when I'm becoming a fan of both franchises lol
Gotta give Virtua Fighter some credit. A lot of fighting games wouldn’t make the face of their series such an advance character. But I suppose that makes him all the more better once mastered… 🤔
My first exposure to Virtua Fighter was Jacky Bryant and Akira Yuki as playable characters in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing for Wii and DS.
