Three warriors who lost their loved ones by the hands of Death=Adder, an evil titan who seeks to use the legendary Golden Axe to bring the world into darkness. United together with a common goal, the warriors embark on a quest to destroy the mighty Death=Adder, retrieve the Golden Axe, and save the land of Yuria.

In my mind, each of the characters represented iconic 80's cinema fantasy heroes...
Ax Battler (wth kind of name is that?) = Conan the Barbarian
Tyris Flare = Red Sonja
Gilius Thunderhead = ...a short dude, with a hellaciously big axe... 😆
My first exposure to Golden Axe is Golden Axe 1 2 and 3 on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for XBox 360.
Mine was Golden Axe in Sega Smash Pack. :)

my favorite moment in Golden Axe series? Playing through Revenge of Death Adder and seeing Gillius Thunderhead take down Death Adder with him! Also being able to lift any character over your head, even those big guys with the hammers was pretty mind blowing!

Uuuuummm, I love this video and your other video's, but Axe battler isn't the main character in Golden Axe Warrrior, and Golden Axe: Beast Rider isn't a prequel to the original game
