    I think its funny how even though you are giving away so much information FREE! They still want to complain that you haven't mentioned all the micro-nutrients and other information about each item... People, please do your own research! Take everything you learn online and follow up on your own.
    Thank you Abbey for making fun and easy guides for us to follow! I love your content and will keep coming back for more tips and your F-bombs ;)

    Hi Abbey, I've been watching a lot of your videos lately and I love that you are encouraging people to build a healthy relationship with food, and to focus on intuitive eating rather than being trapped in diet culture. I was surprised by how different this video seemed from a lot of the others...I kept expecting you to reiterate your usual "you don't need to eliminate gluten unless you are specifically intolerant" point that you often make. Instead, the fact that many of these products are gluten free seemed like another one of their virtues, like their being a good source of protein, and are satiating, etc. I was also surprised at your glowing review of the "Think Thin" oatmeal...that label seems to be exactly the kind of possibly disordered or triggering thing that you make entire videos calling out. It seems like many people would not benefit from starting their day eating from a container that reminds them to "Think Thin", and even if the product is super tasty, that seemed like a great moment to mention that these snacks are meant to be a part of a positive and mindful eating experience, not to be promoters of diet culture and negative body image. I know that it must be repetitive and exhausting for you to keep making all these points in every video, and apologies for nitpicking when the rest of your channel makes your positions on these issues so clear, but I was struck by how someone might take this content very differently than intended without having seen so many of your other videos.
    I do really enjoy your content, and thank you for being such a positive and encouraging presence here on youtube.

    I make porridge in the microwave. I use either dried or frozen fruit, oat milk for me and toddler soya milk for my daughter and porridge oats. I just stick it in the microwave for a few minutes and it's done.

    I was at 7/11 recently, and while they're not the most reliable when it comes to finding a healthy snack, they did have something interesting...PROTEIN GUMMIES! They were made with split pea protein, and one bag had about 10 grams of protein and 27g of fibre! They were 100% vegan, clean ingredients, made in Canada, AND they tasted just like your standard sugar filled fruit gummies, with only 1 gram of sugar. They were on the pricey side, $3.50 CAD for 50g, so I've been looking for them at other grocery stores to compare. Haven't had any luck finding them, but definitely something I can lean towards other than a bag of chips when I get the late night munchies.

    • @pownasor3
      @pownasor3 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Replace the chickpeas with baked eggplant and call it baba ganouj! Don't forget tahini!
      Alternatively you could consider that your source of beans is actually contaminated with chemicals, or grown in a monocrop. and try this source www.amazon.ca/Certified-Organic-Garbanzo-Chickpeas-Sproutable/dp/B072V3WN16/ref=mp_s_a_1_4/134-7933419-0733202?ie=UTF8&qid=1549192277&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=chick+peas+organic&dpPl=1&dpID=51WS22T0wmL&ref=plSrch
      Third maybe you are the reason for your suffering, maybe you have an internal issue (gut bacteria is quite complex) I presume if you solve said issue (assuming that it exists) your symptoms will go away and you can eat delish hummus
      Lastly maybe it's the bread not the dip, this is my fav (only because of the ingredients list) www.walmart.ca/en/ip/stonemill-bavarian-light-sourdough-rye-bread/6000197290403
