Why would they add a car that goes 262 and than put a cap on all the cars at 245? Doesn’t make sense.

The cap was there since 2015, so it’s nothing new. I’m guessing it has to do with cars flying off into the stratosphere, colliding with ceilings, bridges, etc. at least 245MPH is the highest cap yet.
Remember most wanted 2012 with the Bugatti, koenigsegg, and Hennessy with no speed cap? That was the good days of nfs.
That speed cap is so stupid. They had the same system for Heat and it sucks
Come on NFS Devs, if 245 is your hard cap for keeping the physics intact then you need to scale everything accordingly rather than hardcapping below a car's capabilities.
I see the reasoning behind not making everything else slower because of one car that's there for halo effect, but yeah it sure sucks. Really strange limitation too...
I have a theory on the top speed cap. If this is the same engine as Heat, there's a possibility that it kept the same in-game top speed cap when porting over the physics while changing the scale of the speed readout, for example, let's say 245 cap in Unbound and 254 cap in Heat are both "X" value of map units per second.
Unite mod fixes Heat's speed cap. Check AshmanRX's tweaked Unite gameplays.
Cars go up to 260-300+ MPH.

Makes no sense, one of the fastest cars in the world capping out at 245??? Makes no sense, if we're trying to be realistic.
I have the Regera in both Solo and Multiplayer. I've been spending most of my time lately grinding out the Playlists and when I do race an S+ I'll intentionally get to 99% then park and let everyone else pass me. No point in having the Regera if I've not going to drive it lol. Only reason I would buy the Bugatti, is for the "achievement" of grinding out the cash to buy it.
I do the same with the B Pista and the Golf GTI.
You should let others win if you in a regera cause you’re getting an intentional advantage
Even if you win, you’re not winning by your skills, only fair if others are all in regeras
@@lhoujikasdfbjklfasdhbjkas7696 I don't know about the whole "not winning by your skill", that car is crazy twitchy and can be a pain on a lot of tracks that aren't like The Big O, some skill is required just to keep that monster from bouncing all over the place like a pinball lol. There is also the whole racing 30 S+ Playlists to unlock access to the car, plus all of the money required to purchase, and do the few upgrades to the car, so I believe I've earned the right to drive it, just like I will do once I get the money for the Bugatti.

If you’re playing with bunch of noobs and you’re not good at driving, it’s maybe fair cause no one can stop crashing
If you are in a lobby that everyone are serious drivers, even if you’re perfect driving, you will still lose for about 400meters and that’s a intentional advantage for the regera drivers
If you have watched some good drivers such as kuruhs or isad, they all show how op is the regera so whatever you say, regera with its acceleration and top speed and it’s cornering, just unfair
And all cars in the game are all twitchy and unstable, regera is a really good car comes to handling so don’t know what you saying
Just pick a race and run it in regera and run it again in other s+ 400+ car (fully maxed m3 for example) and you will see how much you are slower

I’ve put a crap amount of time onto this car racing it online and can confirm that -5 downforce is the way to go, yes it’s not as stuck to the ground but you can reach your top speed so much faster
I love the regera but they made it stupidly op in this game..I was racing with the ferrari FXX Evo K on Big O..no crash and the regera crashed 3 times in from of me .. he still finished 20 sec ahead.. its stupid.

Oh wow a video I can actually put my opinion on. Mini rant incoming.
Ok so I’ve had both the regera and Bugatti for WEEKS AND WEEKS now and highly suggest that you don’t waste your money on the Bugatti for 1 single purpose.
Handling.
The Bugatti is a beast (I’ve maxed out both cars) and at the top speed during The Big O race, it does not grip the road too well and I have found quite often that the car tends to begin drifting during all the S++ races.
The same turns and the same speeds is not a problem for the regera. She grips the road fantastically and I’ve never really had any concerns on taking corners too fast.
In fact a tactic of mine is to take sharp corners at very high speeds and pull the E brake. Regera grips the road SO WELL that it basically “snaps” at a 90 degree angle and resumes gaining speed. It’s A LOT of fun to drive. Bugatti in the other hand? I would assume I’d either spin out or just veer into the wall.
And finally, the regera not needing to switch gears is also super cool and I would somewhat assume a small advantage if milliseconds (per shift) over the Bugatti.
Haha ok so thanks for reading I’m just super passionate of this topic because I see a regera once a week maybe and I’ve only ever seen a Bugatti Olin 1 race.

If you don’t have the Regera in multiplayer, you pretty much can say goodbye to winning any S+ races. It really shouldn’t be like that, and it really needs a damn nerf imo.
Depends on the driver .
I've raced against a few people who own a Regera and for the most part if they aren't great at driving it you can beat them. The real strength the car has is pulling out front early at the beginning of the race.
i beat regeras in my 918 ... most people are surprisingly bad at driving.. if the driver is decent yeah its probably not going your way tho
I've beaten two in my Silvia K's. Don't ask how, that car is a DOG in S+. But they were worse drivers so it worked out.

First off I have to say another solid video. Keep up the great work. That being said as someone who doesn’t on the game but I watched a bunch of content on the game because I was really considering it I would have to say that was really disappointing the price of the car and the TopSpeed, especially knowing the fact that in real life, the car actually has a top speed of 252 depending on configuration. Other than that I think they need to drop an update to fix that and I wouldn’t mind if they drop DLC with EV cars like the Tesla the hummer And a few others. Anyway, just my two cents. In all honesty they probably kept the top speed capped since anything faster would be undrivable on the map.
If release the trigger to about half throttle after hitting rev limiter, you can get a few mph out of it. I do it with the golf gti

Either they buff the Chiron or nerf the Regera or maybe just do both. Because the stats & price tag for this thing make zero sense (depsite me owning this car already).
You are correct in saying make it a goal to get the car and this is the main goal Im playing for now since I only play single player. I dont do multiplayer on any game so what are "meta cars"? And what are the alternatives to the Regera and Chiron? Can any other s+ cars be built up to compete with their acceleration? Shimizu and Lyric are insanely fast post story on some tracks in S+. And Harlow is the same on the lower tier forgot is its S or A+. So I dont know which car to get to be able to beat Shimizu and Lyric in single player post story. What are the recommendations? Because thats a lot of grinding to waste the money on the wrong car

I pick the reguera just to monitorize the race , if i see a reguera bully, then i admit i will take it personal
This is the problem I have watching people talk about this car and the regera. In real life the chiron has a 4 turbo, 8L w16 motor; if you engine swap that find a better motor. Also the chiron has the most reliable hypercar motor. The regera however is the fastest hybrid motor on the planet and has no gears. Both motors are specifically built for the cars. Not like a conventional motor swap. There isn't anything better or it would be in the car already.

Well i am playing via game pass so i was curious which car to buy after completing story so i can delete it cause there is no point grinding tomorrow i am gonna finish the game and see what i can afford if i can make 3.6m then Bugatti otherwise regera and uninstall back to heat

I say the devs just buff most of the cars to compete with those super cars like the GTR nismo n so on instead of nerfing so that way it's a more even playing ground with car options.
Idk if its the setup I have for my Bugatti but it turns and drifts around corners way better than my Koenigsegg and it just seems like it handles way better
Well actually the Koenigsegg regera is faster than the Bugatti Chiron acceleration so it makes sense but however the Bugatti Chiron is faster and top speed that's not the issue here my problem is why they put these fast hypercars in this game they do not fit this game whatsoever this game is trying to be illegal street racing

great vid! im not sure if youll see this but ive had the bugatti and ive reached its top speed and even 1-2 more mph with nos. i dont think theres a 245 hard cap, unless they added it in and i havnt noticed, i havnt raced with it for a bit. i agree its underwhelming and its okay against normal cars, but no point in racing s+ with anything but regera

Just found Another reason not to buy the game, they limited the top speed again but this time by 5 MPH less then any of the previous games 🤦♂️. May not be by much but it’s still dumb to limit the speed to 245 rather then 250. In all honesty they shouldn’t be limiting the speeds at all if a car is quote the fastest in the game then the top speed should be what the car can actually do rather then a limited speed at which it could blow out of the park.

They really do need to update money in multiplayer. I can't do anything with the current cars I have, which makes it very difficult because I run into people that have way faster cars and just no way to make a decent amount of money within one or two hours of racing. I'll just stick to single player until they, hopefully, update it.
If you do the story you can get a bunch of free cars like the murcielago sv (which is decent) or the hellcat or the Alfa rameo which

Not everyone like militia takes the times to come by and say look save your money. It’s very expensive for engines parts etc. all the nfs TH-camrs do it too but they won’t tell you lol
@@Lizzybirds40 well you can always sell your car. If you have everything then the game gets boring. If everyone has all that money, then people will all be using the same cars too. Like in S+ people doing the glitch that are level 20-30 will just buy the regera and that’s all they will use.

so i have about $3.4 bout be 5 on unbound online, been grinding, focused on This Chiron. The price tag they put on it for it to not be THAT CAR is sad imo. Maybe in their 1st update it’ll bring peace
Would you recommend buying this car in single player? I already have the Regera but l do want to grab the Bugatti at some point and i’m wondering if it handles just as well as the Bugatti and if it’s worth spending the time to earn, because l noticed this video talks about the car being competitive in multiplayer not single player, l don’t really play multiplayer in NFS Unbound that much because l don’t like that my garage doesn’t carry over so l mostly play single player on the easiest difficulty as well

Sad that they neutered the Chiron like that. Such a slap in the face. A car that can go over 300mph done dirty like that. No idea why the devs would do such a dumb thing.
Overall I have mixed feelings about this game. I like it, I love that taking the apex is actually viable, I love the style and effects, the cops are fair, easy to beat if you know what you’re doing, but still fair. The pacing of the story is fine, it forced players to grind more, which increased the time spent in the game. The story is great for a racing game, but there are some things I didn’t like. Things that just leave a sour taste. This whole 245 cap is one of them.
Why bother grinding so hard for this car? It’s gonna get owned by other cars, and maybe the only good thing it had was top speed, they took it away. It’s almost like a trap. Imagine if there was no community. Some poor soul would just buy that car thinking it’s the fastest in the game just to be met with severe disappointment.

Even NFS Most Wanted 12's Bugatti and handling model are better than this one from Unbound. Utterly disappointing for a 100$ urban racing game. Average value for money. NFS Unbound is just a stable prototype. Not a fully polished game.
