I have never played a game like this, can you explain to me what that playlist thing you mentioned is. I know the servers are not being taken offline but the game is stopped being sold and they are no longer doing the festivals. So does that mean if I buy the game I am locked out of all these previous festival cars?
@@Stinkyremy If you buy the game, you can still get them, but not in the Festival Playlists. There's a "Backstage Pass" that you can buy in the Forzathon Shop if you completed (some or all of) the Forzathon Challenges.
I've been playing fh4 non stop since fh5 showed up till this day and the lobbies are always full of people to drive with. Even fortune island and Lego expansion have enough players to play with so yes fh4 is definitely not dead and hopefully won't be for a long time as it's still very fun game.

Since day 1 I've been an FH4 winter lover. I always like driving rally cars and SUVs, so winter and FH4 never bothered me. It's definitely the most controversial thing about that game.
Ironically the biggest issue i have with fh4 is how much normal rwd and fwd builds suffered compared to just running awd on everything, fh5 handles this a lot better
very true. i don't really like horizon 5 for many reasons but a BIG up for that game was the fact that RWD and especially FWD were more accessible and competitive.
More challenging but if we have setup our car right and tune for better, it will be pretty much the same as fh5, except the tyre selection that fh4 doesnt have rally tire and offroad tire, so we stick with race or sport or street tyre and live with that@@stevio2175
I have been playing FH4 since released. I just switched over to FH5 two months ago. I sure do miss the winter and I also think the map in FH4 was much better. Although I do like the added Rally adventure in FH5.
I played FH4 when it came out and loved the seasons (I liked the snow from the start), the stories and businesses, the map, and the progression system (compared to FH5). I’ve always thought FH4 was the better game. I might actually restart and play through FH4 again because I got FH1 and I am planing on playing them in order because I never go to play 1 and 2 (I started playing FH on 3) and decided it would be cool to play them in order. FH4 was an amazing game! Right now it’s my favorite i’d have to replay three to be sure though cause I was quite young when I played it.
For some reason, when FH5 was launched, everyone got better stuff out of the Wheel Spins. I bought the game last October, and I have to say, FH4 has consistently given me better rewards. The most common reward I get in FH5 is 4000 credits or 1000 credits. I don't know if they changed the odds, but out of ~300+ wheel spins, 30 of them gave me something that is truly useful
@TinyBearTim As a matter of fact, I opened FH4 and used 4 super Wheel Spins and 4 normal Wheel Spins. I got at least 1.2 million credits because the 250.000 and 175.000 came at least 3x (not each) and got 2 epic cars (besides other cars). It is true that I got the 20.000 and 10.000 also, but much less often than in FH5. There are videos with Wheel Spins after FH5 released, and the rewards were really good
@stevio2175 no Wheel Spins in FH6? Then, they better give us a way to get rich in some way or another. FH4 had the passive income coming from the businesses. I got rich so much easier in that game by playing way less. The houses were much more expensive (if I remember, 20.000.000 for both castles). I spent another 10.000.000 or 20.000.000 on an LFA from the auction house. It didn't feel that much; if I spend 500.000 on a car now, I feel like bankrupting myself (I barely have 3.000.000 [after spending a total of ~120.000.000 on upgrades, auction house and showroom])
playing custom routes in fh4 with friends, or after adding randoms from the lobby to your convoy is still the most fun i ever had in a racing game period!
I’ve missed the older graphics and gameplay compared to fh5, no other game beats it. FH4 has some, if not the best scenery in all of the FH series, and is absolutely beautiful with the best graphics settings. All of the landmarks and overlooks just don’t compare to Forzas newest game, it’s just too bare. MAKE FH4 GREAT AGAIN!!!
I am playing the whole game to a 100% now as it got me into cars 2019. I went back to it after a year of Horizon 5 because mostly I missed the map from FH4. I really really love the game but when playing it now a few of FH5s new cars and features would be amazing. For example the option of more than 6gear-transmissions and the rally tires (winter tires are also good but not those FH5 Rally tires) and being able to paint brakes would help me alot in FH4. P.S: The thing I miss the most are the new FH5 car sounds.... Keep up the great work Stevio!
FH4 is my favorite of the horizon games. It’s the first one I played, but even if it wasn’t I’d like to think I’d have the same opinion. The side stories are all excellent. Love the map and the tracks. Ranked racing was fun, even tho I think the scoring should have been simplified. Miss ranked racing in FH5. I could go on and on about this game. It’s the pinnacle of Forza so far. Perhaps it’s special to the developers because it’s in their home country. I loved collecting cars. I’m missing 4 preorder cars I’ll never get and the FE Capri I’ll never get either. The Star card is about impossible to complete-nobody ever plays ranked drifting or ranked playground games so I can’t compete those portions of Star card. Same with the accolade in FH5 where you need to drive 20 miles in the rally horizon open. Thanks for a great video. Your treasure hunt videos are always fun but I enjoy when you do something different like this. You’re quite a talented TH-camr.
I wanted to also mention I’ve played all the FH games now. I went out and found copies of 1-2-3. Three is really a great game too and you can still find online races. I don’t care for 1 as much but 2 is also good. I’d mention that far and away 4 also has my favorite soundtrack. Great music in FH4.
@@stevio2175Totally agree. FH1 isn’t that great now but I can see where it would have been great when it came out. I just had to get the game and try it because I like the series so much. But both FH2 and FH3 are still very playable and fun today. In fact, the simplified format compared to FH5 is actually kind of nice in a way. As you mentioned the skill points are for the game not for each car. It was just kind of cool to play each game and see the progression the series took. I actually hope FH6 is more scaled back kind of like FH4. I’m be happy with a bit less cars too. Like many have said before me, Japan would be a cool setting because they could do so much with the side stories which I really enjoy. A lot of cool car history in Japan.
Hey Stevio! You probably don’t remember me as I am on a different account and all of my comments were deleted due to my school account but I was here at early stages of the game and I saw you grow to what you are now. I went back to look at previous streams and I 1v1 you a couple of times and as far as I can remember, the best one was on the update 29 live stream my gamertag was Sickcloth74 - and still is to this day lol - I raced you in the Stevio paint job Focus PO. I recently opened back FH4 and have started to play it regularly again and I assure you it is not dead. All the memories came back from this time and the OG live stream 1v1s, the police chases the auction house with all the people back on the discord server -which I was really sad when it closed-, the good ol’ days! If you think about doing a FH4 stream again soon I assure you I’ll be there. Pew Pew Pew.
Loved the UI of upgrades being in a row compared to H5 being tiles, I just want to see the difference in stats for tyres, not have to cycle through every tyre type to see if drag tyres are better than stock
This map just feels like home. The roads are great. Everything is esthetically beautiful. The atmosphere alluring. Warm, peaceful, meditative. The details. The fun narrow back roads. The sounds. The themes and UK culture highlighted while you drive an Aston through the countryside.
I've been doing the FH4 seasonals along with the FH5 seasonals and I'm consistently surprised by just how many people I still see in FH4. There are times that getting into an online adventure takes a few attempts to get a full lobby, but aside from that it seems to have a decent player base.
My fav thing about fh4 is how colorful the game is and how the seasons change. They nailed this part, even if they didnt with the car sounds, wich i dont give a crap about
I was introduced to the Horizon series in FH5 and have played every season, own every car (except really rare collector type cars that had commercial tie ins) and have a livery for most of those cars. Recently picked up FH4 during Steams holiday sale, and had to suffer my first season in the Winter. First off, Winter sucks when you're trying to unlock all the roads, how can you find gray roads when the whole map is gray? Secondly, while it's actually interesting to "need" snow tires in the game for once, they're still substandard, and I see why people love the 4WD meta. On the whole, I've enjoyed my experience, and I'm glad it's Spring now so I could find those final tiny bits of road I missed when exploring in the winter. I'm down to one road undiscovered, game's gonna kill me trying to find it. While the good parts are basically the same good points of FH5, these are the things I don't like about it. First, Pinball AI cars that will murder you at the slightest bump. It is infuriating game behavior where a car will take a slight tap, and then proceed to repeated slam into you like a hammer until you hit a building, or tree, or whatever. It's actually murder and I have rage quit over this a couple times, and is the number one factor I can't recommend this to anyone else. While AI in FH5 still sucks, at least the physics make this door banging hammer murder impossible. Second would be the lack of customization. I know, I know, the purists out there are saying it's fine, you shouldn't be able to slap 4WD on every car, with offroad mud tires, but that is part of the freedom I really enjoy in 5. Especially starting in the snow season, there are some cars that are basically useless in the winter season, because they're limited to 2WD. I'd understand this in Motorsport (which used to be their bastion of "realistic" racing) but Horizon is supposed to be a bit of a laugh and a chance to be crazy with your concepts. A real hoonigan. I also dislike how certain gift cars have liveries that can't be painted over. They are determined you show everyone that ugly paint job whenever you use the gift car from whatever holiday or group the livery was created for. Heaven forbid you take the free car and repaint it to make it your own. Last is poor audio. You can't check your exhaust sounds when customizing your car, but to no surprise, it sounds the same when you're done. This is a huge plus for FH5, as each car and tune (for the most part) have a signature sound based on your tune. The vast majority of cars in 4 have no soul, and just sound like your standard arcade engine noise. For all these reasons, I think I'll still be spending more time in Mexico than the UK, but FH4 is still a nice diversion hen nothing else can be done in 5.
Back in the day, people on stream helped me find the final roads and bonus boards 😂AI is terrible in FH4 and FH5, Motorsport did get it much better.. I prefer purist builds as I love the uniqueness of every car.. but like you said, it's a video game and people can do what they want to have fun. Car sounds are much improved in FH5. Both are fun for their own reasons!
Except for the Peugeot Rallye ! That car had a completely unique, extra loud sound that was almost terrifying when behind you in a race! I was disappointed that it was just normal sounding in FH5.
FH3 is my all time favorite but i really liked FH4 and the seasons idea with special rewards was a really cool idea to me i do remember the hate about the winter season although i never seemed to mind it i actually really enjoyed it as it changed the gameplay up a bit
I started to play this game in December 2022 and althought the stages of the season are repeating, still it's a great game, great graphics and a online mode very cool.
End of last year they said they had no plans on delisting this game anytime soon, now by the end of this year it will be delisted. DLC is already unavailable, I can’t believe it 😢
I haven’t touched Forza 4 because of Fh5. When FM came out for some reason I started up FH4 again and I was pleasantly surprised how good it still is. It drives different than FH5 but you get used to it almost immediately. No one and I mean NO ONE makes a better racing game than the Forza Horizon series.

When I first played, I was two young to understand any of it, only drove slow AWD never lose grip cars, I've come to really love having 4 actually distinct seasons, not just the rainy one and the other three, FWD cars don't understeer like hell, my super and hypercars don't feel wildy out of place, there is an actual city. And they recently (series 68 or 69 I think) had the Mazda Cosmos in the Festival Playlist Seasonal Championship, and it was marked as a NEW exclusive. I'd never seen or heard of it before, but if they still add new new content to FH4.... What a legendary game.
I hop on every now and then. About twice a month. I like to just see whats going on. I might check the auction house now and then. It's not dead yet. I myself am debating on just giving away all my extra duplicate rare cars. However what I am noticing is you see loads of new players coming in and all the old high level players have migrated to FH5. I also see lots more modded accounts which is fine on a old forza game
@stevio2175 Maybe. Maybe. We'll see. I just got lucky with a modder just dumping Capri FE's. I snagged 5 of 8. Win in my book. Thats really the only duplicates I have. I have a lot of 812's and '18 Civic Type R's but gave those away long ago to people needing them very badly. All I got are my 1st owners, I do have duplicate PO cars. Those have been banned for years
and i always play team playground games and the reasons it freeze is because of slow wifi for certain people, so me and my team do big 6v6 private adventures everyday, its really fun
My first Horizon game was FH3, as it was for sale because it was about to be unlisted from stores. Even though I was playing on 10 FPS and my potato pc crashed every 45 minutes, I absolutely loved it, which was why I was so excited when FH5 was announced. I got a PC upgrade and played it extremely often, but after a bit it felt stale, as many people have reported. But then FH4 went on sale, and I had heard that it was peak Horizon, so I went out and got the game and both expansions and yes, it really was the best Horizon game. The model felt much more like FH5 than FH3, much more forgiving and easier to play, at least on keyboard. The seasons were quite fun to me, though winter and sometimes fall occasionally got stale with the lack of true color, especially during the intro's fairly long winter season that you must play to get past.
I was playing FH4 this past 6yrs since released lol, I enjoy the physics the smoothness of the driving and the cars even though the customization could be a little better but it’s still an awesome game to date
I had no idea they carried on with the series, had I known I'd never have left it for 5. Winter was awful and certainly something that isn't missed here. One stat I saw the other day is there are often more people playing FH4 than the new Motorsport.
Yes, and you should even be to download it to new devices. You just won't be able to buy it digitally anymore. So piracy and physical editions for consoles are an option after that.
My personal opinion on both FH4 and FH5 is the A.I. On FH5 the A.I has super grip, extreme rubber banding, and sometimes really hard to beat, but in FH4 it’s perfectly balanced the drivetars drive at realistic speeds. Another big critique is the Forza Edition cars they all feel unique especially the Ford Capri FE. The atmosphere in FH4 is amazing, FH5 on the other hand feels like it’s been robbed of it’s atmosphere and it’s trying to be something it’s not. FH4 in my opinion is the pinnacle of Car Culture mixed with Pure Racing, some cars in this game are only seen in games like Gran Turismo which makes them special to the community. I don’t want this game to die and I’ll get every exclusive car before they delist FH4
Encourage people to go back to FH3 bro. If I could have just a couple months to get the hot wheels expansion, and blizzard mountain, and have it be alive, would be the best thing ever. Those games meant so much to me, and the expansions, it’s hard to put in to words. I go back and watch the expansion trailers occasionally because the game is that important to me. It’s a euphoric feeling going back and watching TH-camrs play blizzard mountain, or whatever. And getting that back for just a month or 2 would literally be my dream come true.
I started with 5 and bought 4 a few days before Christmas to keep me busy during the cold days and I have to say I now prefer playing 4 instead of 5 and I love it!
I still play and played the 5th one time and realized it’s just like the others and didn’t want to restart and retune everything I already had in the 4th.
I remember about two ish years after fh4 came out, I got my first Xbox and this was my first game I downloaded. Remember when me and my dad would stay up for hours playing this every day, might re-install it some day to get that nostalgia..
It definitely shows what the company thinks about the franchises when FM7 was delisted at 5 years with no replacement for it, and Horizons replacement is 2 years old now and they say they have no plans of delisting Horizon 4.
I have 1000 hours in FH4, and i love this game so much. I love setting in this hame, i nerly have all cars and achievements. Why i don't buy FH5? Cause i don't have money, and i want buy racing wheel (maybe g29), only then i try save up money for this game
I mean the FH series is updated based on geographic locations, like Australia, Scotland, and Mexico. So there is no reason for players to discontinue the old game after the new game came out. If I play FH5 and drive in Mexico, I still want to drive in Scotland.
Only thing that unnecessarily annoys me is the BMW 850 csi was offered to vote for to include in the backstage pass section 2-3 times. Yet people kept voting for cars that were easy to get. While the bimmer is rare and had to come by. 🤦♂️😥🤦♂️ Got it easy peasy in FH5 but, one of the very few cars i still don't have in FH4.
I've come to the conclusion this is the best driving game ever made, especially with a wheel. The horizon engine, Forzatech, when you really start to look at it, is a complete masterpiece. Massive FPS on low spec hardware, no stuttering, massive open World at insane speed, graphics are phenomenal, it's a literal masterpiece. This game has it all, rally, road, offroad, all music genre, arcade style, simulation style, everything. Best ever.
I play this game since 2018 and still too, every year. I always love to just cruise every seasons with every cars with friends or alone. This game never gets old.
If Forza Horizon 4 was set in Canada or the US, and gave you the option to select which season you want to enter into for the entire map/game (not just a blueprint track), then this would be an absolute classic.
fh4 is one of my favorite forza games. i only have like 70 hours on the game currently but im starting to really like the beauty of the game again and actually commit to playing it alot. fh4 is the first forza i got after trying fh3 at a friends house. nostalgic game tbh
I started playing FH4 for my 30th Birthday in October 2020. One car that I TRULY enjoyed driving in FH4 was the 1966 Porsche 906 Carerra 6 race car. I actually have a Matte Purple Porsche 906 Carerra 6 in my collection that I accurately recreated in FH4! One thing that I really missed being able to do was importing car designs from previous titles. I was unable to do it the usual method in importing designs since early November 2020. I swear to God that if I knew that this was gonna happen soon, I would've imported ALL my FH3 designs when I had the chance! Overall, really cool revisiting FH4!
@@oranjebeer6637 I'm 16 thank you very much, to be fair I turned 16 in October but still, also it was my first horizon game, so for me it's just kinda special
Forza Motorsports and Gran Turismo have the best driving physics by far (after assetto corsa ofc but that didn't come out until 2015). Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios took that and put it in an arcade game and that has been the best combo/cross-over of the century.
I still frequently play FH4 because its optimized so dang well. FH5 is pretty good, but just slightly too much for my laptop to handle. It also has so much to offer still, as the community is super active still.
FH4 was the first Forza game i had ever played. I started playing it when i got my very first PC back in 2019, and as a reward for building it myself, my dad bought me this game. Before i had my PC i was using a thin and light laptop from like 5 years ago that could barely handle Roblox. This game introduced me to AAA gaming. And whenever i hear or see that intro i almost get emotional, as it reminds me of the day that i built my first PC. At the time i was a 13 year old that had no idea what he was doing. Ive tried FH3, regarded as one of the best Forza games, but honestly nothing makes me love Forza more than FH4. Damn, i need to ga back and play FH4 again.
I'm still playing it, I've actually been playing it a lot the last two days specifically. Also I'm impressed whenever I see people drift, I *STILL* don't get how to drift well, even when I'm using cars specializing in drift
i wish they would bring back unique racing events instead of just the trial. i remember for the rip rod in fh4 it was a special drag race event in c class. i joined you a couple times for it and everyone was using the old 32 ford but i was the odd one out in the chevy sedan.
@@stevio2175 i still enjoyed that it was an actual challenge. if they could bring back something like it as a 'hard mode' thing that maybe only prestige drivers could enter thatd be epic.
In my opinion, it's the best Forza Horizon. I love the setting, the changing seasons, the track design, and the car physics, which, in my view, are the best by far in the series. The radio stations are good, and it's a nostalgic game for me. I'll probably play it again in the future, even if it's just to reminisce.
2024 here, a few days after the announcement of LoveLive Nijigasaki The Final Chapter TRILOGY SEASON 4 MOVIES. FORZA HORIZON 4, six years on, still the 2nd best game in the whole FORZA HORIZON series alongside the original Horizon from 2012!
Horizon 4 is my favorite horizon game due to the fact it got launched roughly when my dad unexpectedly passed away, and it did help me not succumb into dark thoughts, and also to have the most fun i have ever had in an online game. Still playing it to this day :D .
I got it through the Steam sale a month or so back "PC version", With plenty to do with lots to achieve, with some nice cars to unlock, I did find all the treasure on the Island so that helped a lot
Take my word as someone who took about a years break from both FH4 and FH5 and decided to come back to FH4 out of the two, there are three reasons why I, and a lot of other people vastly prefer FH4. and only one of them is subjective. A: The car list is far more interesting than FH5 despite being smaller. The best example for me is MG. In FH2 and FH3 the only MG in the game was the Metro 6R4. FH4 ramped it up by adding a good handful of historical cars from MG's heritage, those being the MGA Twin Cam, the MGB GT and the MG TA Midget. What did FH5 do? Remove ALL of these new MG's and replace with more MG's than the previous game... with one catch. ALL of them are from MG after 2005. AKA: The era where they were bought out from china and essentially became a reanimated corpse. I've never seen a car list misunderstand the point of what they should and shouldn't do as much as that. FH4 is also the ONLY Forza game with the Rover SD1. Yes please. B: The game feels more complete and polished in tons of different aspects. The seasons have far more effect on the game than in FH5, there are way less game related and performance related bugs than in FH5, The online is far more stable than in FH5, The map is more well thought out than FH5 despite the smaller size, The UI for the game has far more style than FH5 from the speedometer to the way that the pause menu looks and there are far more reasons beyond this point that I would love to go into but aren't coming to my mind as of writing this comment. C: The Forza games have historically sold best in the UK compared to everywhere else, even going back to the very first Forza title where sales in the UK were nearly double that of the US. So naturally when you make a game that is centred around capturing the culture of the country that your game is most successful at, then that'll make the British player base want to stick around due to the game being a love letter to their culture. I know this myself because for me, more so than any other Horizon game, FH4 is the easiest to pick a car in and casually free roam through because of that fact alone.
I plan on being a new player soon - next time there's a sale on Steam I will be buying FH4. I love FH5 but also want to try this. We live in an amazing time where we don't have to choose, we can play and enjoy both!
FH4 still has so much to offer compared to FH5. The map is so much better, the car list contains some absolute classics and I overall feel like the game just had a so much better vibe to it. Only 'critiques' I can have on it is that the map gets a bit old (it's not HUGE and therefore you've kinda seen it all quite quickly, but the same goes for H5) and the lack of modern cars. If they bring out a huge FH4 update where all the 2020+ cars from FH5 are being added, I'd return to play it and FH5 can die.
I don't know if I miss FH4 that much, but I definitely miss the Playground events being a regular thing, and with all the different types of games instead of just survival, like in FH5. I don't know why FH5's seasons aren't like that.
The Cyberpunk Quadra was such a wild car to drive and Im endlessly disappointed it was never brought into Horizon 5, especially with the vaporwave/outrun theme of the current series. Truly tragic. Had FH4 had the hot wheels DLC over Lego, Im not sure I would have ever migrated to 5.
I’m STILL playing FH4 (and FH5) pretty much as the only games I play… The main drag with FH4 at the moment is that co-op / online games take FOREVER to load - if they do at all… I guess that there just aren’t many people playing it anymore :-(
I don’t know if you’ll see this but I just found your channel again used to watch your videos in 2020 and this brought back memories, FH4 will always be my favorite game haha How long will the servers be up for?
I bought my first ever Xbox console this week. (Series X) This is the first game I'm playing. Honestly I can't believe how good this looks for a game released 5 years ago.
I used to play just fh5 until it got to a point where it would just crash randomly so i had no option but to return to fh4 and ive been playing it since with no regrets
I actually uninstalled FH5 to make room for FH4 on my Xbox because I just prefer a lot of things from FH4 such as the map, greater seasonal changes, and radio stations. I don't plan on switching back any time soon because I just find FH5 to just have less soul then FH4.
I'm still playing it and it's great. Forza Horizon 4 has won my heart it is one of those games that's relaxing drivers I'm just sad for those people that have not played this game they are missing out and I'm still discovering new things about this game
I have never been able to get into a ranked match. I don't know if it's the server or something on my end. But the online multiplayer in this game is very frustrating to deal with.
I haven’t touched fh4 since fh5 came out. I miss it. It’s a legendary game and will always have a special place in my heart. I’m re installing it tomorrow.

I started playing Fh4 in July 2023, and even after getting Fh5 i can't stop playing Fh4, this game is amazing
both are great
Forza 5 is so boring especially the map I enjoy forza 4 alot @@stevio2175
@pikkonplays16 and you probably won't regret it lol
Since day 1 I've been an FH4 winter lover. I always like driving rally cars and SUVs, so winter and FH4 never bothered me. It's definitely the most controversial thing about that game.
for sure!
The Hoonigan Cars in FH4 are as amazing as in 5.
I hate that winter was slippery but the view made up for it
Ironically the biggest issue i have with fh4 is how much normal rwd and fwd builds suffered compared to just running awd on everything, fh5 handles this a lot better
very true. i don't really like horizon 5 for many reasons but a BIG up for that game was the fact that RWD and especially FWD were more accessible and competitive.
FH5 is probably the smoothest feel ever for sure, love it@@nokiamation
FH4 was more challenging for sure, but the right cars could be great!
FH4 is still the better game.
You don't have to miss it, keep playing both Rally is great
Surprisingly, Mia Taylor and Lanzhu Zhong love the rally adventure expansion in FH5.
@purwantiallan5089 I'm sorry but who are those people?
What is better to buy, fh5 or 4?
@misko933 have you chosen?
A shame 1 and 2 were shut down - my last stream was in 2020
The FH4 LEGO SPEED CHAMPIONS is such a massive bonus.
FH1 is just the best, it may be old but vibe was insane back in the day, forza 2 was dogshit which was very dissapointing to 12 year old me
For some reason, when FH5 was launched, everyone got better stuff out of the Wheel Spins. I bought the game last October, and I have to say, FH4 has consistently given me better rewards. The most common reward I get in FH5 is 4000 credits or 1000 credits. I don't know if they changed the odds, but out of ~300+ wheel spins, 30 of them gave me something that is truly useful
Because your not meant to have cars chucked at you constantly
@TinyBearTim As a matter of fact, I opened FH4 and used 4 super Wheel Spins and 4 normal Wheel Spins. I got at least 1.2 million credits because the 250.000 and 175.000 came at least 3x (not each) and got 2 epic cars (besides other cars). It is true that I got the 20.000 and 10.000 also, but much less often than in FH5. There are videos with Wheel Spins after FH5 released, and the rewards were really good
I hope wheelspins aren't in the next game
@@TandemSix they shouldn’t give any way to get rich just play the game
playing custom routes in fh4 with friends, or after adding randoms from the lobby to your convoy is still the most fun i ever had in a racing game period!
I still play it all the time. I love it. Zero interest in Mexico.

Exactly what I really missed in FH5
I absolutely agree, After FH4, FH5 is boring
@@lilbooba5147true. The roads is very lifeless. Even its outclassed by NFS HEAT and TC2 & MOTORFEST.
Appreciate it
FH5 also missing like 50 cars from FH4 realistically.
Appreciate the kind words. I have extra Capri FE - be sure to tune into my next FH4 live stream!
Couldn’t agree more 😁
I wanted to also mention I’ve played all the FH games now. I went out and found copies of 1-2-3. Three is really a great game too and you can still find online races. I don’t care for 1 as much but 2 is also good. I’d mention that far and away 4 also has my favorite soundtrack. Great music in FH4.
FH1 was amazing in 2012 - but FH3 is still amazing today. A shame FH2 was shut down..
I want to know where u got the copy of FH3? I really want to try out that game cuz I cant see it on Microsoft store nor Steam
I found 3 a while back on Amazon. I’m not sure if you can still get it there or not. For 1 and 2 I ordered used thru game stop.
Being from the UK still have love for this horizon...alternating between the 2. Great games
glad to hear you're enjoying them
To me it's funny how I find more people playing Horizon 4 online than Horizon 5.
it's just because of how multiplayer is designed
Welcome back! I think I'm going to stream FH4 this weekend
FH4 in 2024 still 9.4/10!
No. 8.6/10
Heat > phorza
If you can't spell forza, your opinion is wrong
Don’t know why I read your name as Jizzcloth74. Maybe it was meant to be like that beforehand lol
Loved the UI of upgrades being in a row compared to H5 being tiles, I just want to see the difference in stats for tyres, not have to cycle through every tyre type to see if drag tyres are better than stock
I don't mind the difference, but I get what you're saying
This map just feels like home. The roads are great. Everything is esthetically beautiful. The atmosphere alluring. Warm, peaceful, meditative. The details. The fun narrow back roads. The sounds. The themes and UK culture highlighted while you drive an Aston through the countryside.
I've been doing the FH4 seasonals along with the FH5 seasonals and I'm consistently surprised by just how many people I still see in FH4. There are times that getting into an online adventure takes a few attempts to get a full lobby, but aside from that it seems to have a decent player base.
Love to see it after 6 years!

I miss fortune island, one of the best opening drive scenes and had amazing layout and beautiful views
It was very fun!

I just redownloaded it now, after playing FH5 for two whole years. I'll try to improve my gameplay with the things i've learned from FH5.
That LFA CLIP WAS FIRE
I still play it
Have fun! Hope to see you on the next stream @@Cloud971
I also see lots more modded accounts which is fine on a old forza game
dang modders.. da heck with them! Mines as well sell... we aren't using them
@stevio2175 Maybe. Maybe.
Sadly the day has came where this legend gets delisted. Still love it and will love it more than fh5.
Held up over 6 years easily
it's also runs way better, atleast on my pc, while looking as good if not better
I had no idea they carried on with the series, had I known I'd never have left it for 5. Winter was awful and certainly something that isn't missed here.
One stat I saw the other day is there are often more people playing FH4 than the new Motorsport.
doesn't surprise me, Motorsport went MIA for too long I feel like - physics are amazing tho
"no plans to delist" that aged like milk
indeed 🙃
Can I still play if I have installed it before delisting?
I don’t want this game to die and I’ll get every exclusive car before they delist FH4
lol, just announced today about delisting in december 2024. Gonna buy it since Valve has the ultimate edition for 19.99 for another 14 hours.
I've got it for the same reason but only for 6$😃 otherwise I never pay for games much after Epic's free games.
I honestly like FH4 more than FH5. It's a fun game with a fun world setting.
Over 3k hours in this game

Encourage people to go back to FH3 bro. If I could have just a couple months to get the hot wheels expansion, and blizzard mountain, and have it be alive, would be the best thing ever. Those games meant so much to me, and the expansions, it’s hard to put in to words. I go back and watch the expansion trailers occasionally because the game is that important to me. It’s a euphoric feeling going back and watching TH-camrs play blizzard mountain, or whatever. And getting that back for just a month or 2 would literally be my dream come true.
bro i bougth fh4 a days ago with 80% of discount so im trying to play it the most time possible :)

I love the snow too and you can change the date in the xbox settings and go offline to race in the snow season whenever you want! ❄️👍

No sarcasm. I never hated the snow during the fh4 days. I enjoyed having multiple seasons in fh4.

Watching you drive in the snow brings back memories
It's always a pleasure
I mean the FH series is updated based on geographic locations, like Australia, Scotland, and Mexico. So there is no reason for players to discontinue the old game after the new game came out. If I play FH5 and drive in Mexico, I still want to drive in Scotland.
People generally gravitate to the newest title, but here we have cars we don't in FH5, seasons, and more!
@@stevio2175 I mean they don't have to update the game like FH3 to FH4 to FH5. It could be FH Australia, FH Scotland, and FH Mexico.
Best ever.
still chilling on the demo of FH4

Always fun to cruise
Overall, really cool revisiting FH4!
for sure! Glad you're enjoying it
I just started playing fh4 and this game graphics is up to date in my opinion on the extreme settings
And the lobbys are always full
I still got so many achievements to do in that game, even though I’ve done all the races.
Oddly I don't go out of my way to do achievements.. wonder what I have left
best part is that you can easily crack it and even play multiplayer which will definitely let the game be full of players until they pull the plug

Forza Motorsports and Gran Turismo have the best driving physics by far (after assetto corsa ofc but that didn't come out until 2015). Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios took that and put it in an arcade game and that has been the best combo/cross-over of the century.
I like Horizon for the arcade-realistic balance
I still frequently play FH4 because its optimized so dang well. FH5 is pretty good, but just slightly too much for my laptop to handle. It also has so much to offer still, as the community is super active still.
very fun for sure
What's your laptop configuration

Good news my friend!!! It's on sale now!
@@jrrgotmemes8835 Whoa, thanks for the heads up! Just bought it!
💀
FH4 still has so much to offer compared to FH5. The map is so much better, the car list contains some absolute classics and I overall feel like the game just had a so much better vibe to it.
Only 'critiques' I can have on it is that the map gets a bit old (it's not HUGE and therefore you've kinda seen it all quite quickly, but the same goes for H5) and the lack of modern cars. If they bring out a huge FH4 update where all the 2020+ cars from FH5 are being added, I'd return to play it and FH5 can die.
there won't be any more content updates sadly
I don't know if I miss FH4 that much, but I definitely miss the Playground events being a regular thing, and with all the different types of games instead of just survival, like in FH5. I don't know why FH5's seasons aren't like that.
The Cyberpunk Quadra was such a wild car to drive and Im endlessly disappointed it was never brought into Horizon 5, especially with the vaporwave/outrun theme of the current series. Truly tragic. Had FH4 had the hot wheels DLC over Lego, Im not sure I would have ever migrated to 5.
I’m STILL playing FH4 (and FH5) pretty much as the only games I play… The main drag with FH4 at the moment is that co-op / online games take FOREVER to load - if they do at all… I guess that there just aren’t many people playing it anymore :-(
Lots of people free roaming at least!
I don’t know if you’ll see this but I just found your channel again used to watch your videos in 2020 and this brought back memories, FH4 will always be my favorite game haha
How long will the servers be up for?
Far better than FH5, they honestly should have just added all FH5 cars to the game.
content support ended when the new game released
I bought my first ever Xbox console this week. (Series X) This is the first game I'm playing.
Honestly I can't believe how good this looks for a game released 5 years ago.
I am still playing Forza on Xbox360. Can't have friends/kids play with me on PC, but I want to try the open world out.
I still play FH4 everyday and I still enjoy all the season including the winter. I love riding around in the winter season.
Gorgeous, ain't it George
I used to play just fh5 until it got to a point where it would just crash randomly so i had no option but to return to fh4 and ive been playing it since with no regrets
I actually uninstalled FH5 to make room for FH4 on my Xbox because I just prefer a lot of things from FH4 such as the map, greater seasonal changes, and radio stations. I don't plan on switching back any time soon because I just find FH5 to just have less soul then FH4.
I'm still playing it and it's great. Forza Horizon 4 has won my heart it
is one of those games that's relaxing drivers
I'm just sad for those people that have not played this game
they are missing out and I'm still discovering new things about this game
I just started this game last week and I love it. There's still people playing, it's nice
I've never played any Forza games before, I bought FH4 a couple of weeks ago and I'm having a blast😃
Welcome to the community!
I only play FH4, due to the utter lack of cars in FH5 I droped it instanly and returned to FH4 even tho I prefure the FH5 map
I have never been able to get into a ranked match. I don't know if it's the server or something on my end. But the online multiplayer in this game is very frustrating to deal with.
I haven’t touched fh4 since fh5 came out. I miss it. It’s a legendary game and will always have a special place in my heart. I’m re installing it tomorrow.
do it!
