  • Did you know about the natural beauty in the Veneto region of Italy?
This video will show you some of the wonderful sights you can find by cycling in the outskirts of Vicenza. The mountains, the vineyards, the fresh air…it’s all just minutes from the city!
We’ll start by using the main bike path, called Pista Ciclabile R. Casarotto or Pista Ciclabile Riviera Berica. We are also going to some of the adorable villages that you can find by deviating off the path.
I will show you the start of the bike path, at the base of the stairs that go up to Monte Berico, or the Arco delle Scallette. There’s this busy intersection here, with Viale Margherita, and Zushi on the corner, and right across the street is the start of the bike path.
I have been living in Vicenza since 2004, and I know this path like the back of my hand. Riding on it gives me a sense of peace, of freedom, and appreciation for the beauty in the world around me.
The Vicenza, Italy bike path route:
    - Villa Rotonda, designed by renowned architect Andrea Palladio.
    - The famous Lumignano cliffs, popular with rock climbers from all over Europe.
    - Costozza in the comune of Longare.
    - Limestone caves, which were used to keep prisoners during a provincial war around the year 1300.
    - You will pass a beautiful vineyard
    - San Maiolo Church.
    - Amazing cliffs, which are part of the Colli Berici, or Berici Hills.
    - Villa Scaroni Dottori.
From time to time people ask me, why don’t you get a car? and I tell them, why do I need a car, when I can use my legs?

Hello Cheryl, do you know of anybody who shows real estate in the Vicenza area here on YT? I am pretty sure this is where I will move to within 1 to 2 years. Thanks.

Hi Eric! I don't know of anyone specifically who shows real estate in Vicenza on TH-cam, but you can contact my American-Italian real estate friend who is a certified real estate agent working with Americans to buy houses in Vicenza: mrumsey@remax.it. Her name is Manuela Rumsey.
